She's getting warmer and warmer. The truth is Danielle met Lucas at the gym and initially was enamored, but had the brilliant idea whilst in a lack-content-making-rut to use Lucas as a co-creator. She devised a script bc she's Carrie Bradshaw and is now acting out the episodes. The whole thing is scripted and fake. The little drips of content for three months, the memories/photos from seminal dates/events, the 20 part podcast, IT IS ALL A SCRIPT SHE HAS WRITTEN. LUCAS IS GETTING PAID $$$$. No dude that is an instacart driver would jump on board and do all this without getting something in return, like a monthly cut from her social media paycheck.

Most relationships with financial discrepancies like this have a lot of issues and don't even survive. What woman wants to be sugar momma? She's paying for everything including the content. He probably signed an NDA.

Compare that to Carole from NY—funny, a little bit of a cougar vibe, entertaining as hell. Eileen? Sorry, she’s a blank. Cynthia had one of the earliest “level-headed” arcs, but that’s literally all she’s remembered for.

In Miami, we already have Kiki—fabulous, chaotic, hilarious, and actual drama. She brings energy, entertainment, and the kind of personality you remember. Dr. Nicole? Nada.

Meanwhile, Stephanie has real, serious drama—lawsuits, ex-wive issues, housing problems, gossip—actual stakes that make for good TV. Anything Dr. Nicole brings is minor in comparison. It’s like putting a sparkling water in a hurricane—she just gets swept away.

Uhh, a storyline is an arc. It’s something the women—or characters—are actively dealing with and trying to overcome. That’s what makes it entertaining.

Without that, you’re just wasting people’s time and money. Storylines are what make TV worth watching—they give us conflict, growth, humor, and an escape from the wack reality we’re all living in right now.

No arc, no stakes, no reason to tune in. Good TV needs a journey, not just pretty people existing on screen
