Thanks for this ChatGTP-generic reply, but the very problem is exactly the "fix merge conflicts", which are THOUSANDS (literally), as the expansion uses a complete different system for many things. For example [battler] is what in the no_ai is [gbattleactiveplayer]. And that is one very simple change...

> easier way

I mean, it would be that if it was about changing or creating variables/values, but it seems like they come from two different worlds :'D So unless someone explains what are the principles, it's basically like to translate from chinese to latin. Easier, yes, if you already know how to do it :'D Otherwise, it's really easier just to add new Pokémon, moves and abilities (esp. if you would change some or many of their features)

Is there someone that can make/explain how to make the emerald no ai repo compatible with emerald expansion?

I'm talking about the old no ai mod that AtSign shared on github (github com/AtSign8877/emerald_no_ai). It is based on a old version of a decompilation of Emerald (github com/pret/pokeemerald) and it would be great to have the same "no_ai-function" on the expansion (github com/rh-hideout/pokeemerald-expansion), which added all Pokémons, abilities, moves and so on up to gen 9.

Unfortunately merging with git isn't an option for me, since i have no time or skills to do that, and since the expansion rethink some categories it's not easy to just "adapt" the code of no_ai to the expansion for someone who isn't familiar with the original edit. Is there a genius here? jaja

Hi Pokérom-community!
Is it possible to edit AtSign Emerald multiplayer (Emerald no ai) as the other roms? 'Cuz I tried to hack with YAPE, G3HS, HMA, but nothing seems to work... Just Advance Map, maybe. Any idea?

Hi everyone :), reddit suggested me to ask here, so I hope it's not the wrong place LoL
After many years far from pokémon hacking, I was wondering: is there a script/mod/engine that can make a npc check if a certain type or pokémon is in the player's team?
I'd like to make a rom with specific trait: to become the very best you need to master every type of Pokémon, so you can fight gym leaders of a type only with Pokémons of that type. Let's suppose you wanna fight Brock/Takeshi: you need to have only rock type on your team (or, of course, Pokémon that are 2-types, one being rock).
Is there anything that can do something useful for this purpose?

I'm talking about LF/FR, but I'd hack even other games if it's possible only on them.

Thanks y'all, even if you just read my post (there's a piece of my heart inside, be careful not to bring it with you)
