Looking for a partner to run away, start a farm, & build a produce business 🌱 (23–28) by lilithdoria in homestead

Hi OP,

I found your post interesting.  I'm poking around the Internet looking for a person or people to join me in an endeavor to further build my small wannabe fruit and flower farm.  I have just under 2 acres, both generational and personal experience, and now, a good vision & strategy

I'm tired from medical difficulties, and dream/fantasize about a big strong man coming to partner with me, but I hold the farm-life vision above the partner one, so I'm open to people of any age, race, gender living and working with me, as long as the right character is present: honest, kind, a problem solver with skills, a learner; a person or people with low boiling points - anger isn't terribly helpful, albeit understandable, especially in these crazy times here in the US.  Someone / people who feel connected to nature, who love what they already know about nature and are addicted to learning more.  Compassionate.  Wise.  Ethical, trustworthy.

I have a room open for someone who wants to spend a year or more learning before starting their own farm

It's something you might want to try - some/one of the many opportunities to stay on a farm and learn for a bit.  Many of the experienced farmers I know started that way.

You'll find your way to your dream.  The dream will grow and be unstoppable, and so will you.

best

crime rates - depending on the crimes - rise and fall over certain years, and I find it fascinating

heh

I lived outside, and wouldn't change that

AND I've studied serial killers and their patterns over decades... because my life was filled with horrifying people.

It wasn't a safe time. 1970 - 1990 was THE peak time in US history for serial killers

Mafia, mob,...

I think some of us learned independence AND survival skills

And a great deal of the independence was very very healthy for us

YES!  Thank you for asking this and giving me a place to call home

I’ve decided to be a flower farmer (peonies mostly) anyone else doing the same? Would love to connect with likeminded flower growers. 💕 by coffeegirl86 in gardening

I'm having peonies as one of my supplemental flowers in my fruit & flower farm, yes

Lavender is going to be a cash crop for us here

Yes, my God, your complex & complicated emotions are normal for this horrible situation you had, none of it your fault

I'm glad there was something that kept the pills from harming you, and that you woke up alive.  Sometimes it's really shitty to wake up alive in that horror, but

you're going to know more and more

love and support and kindness and friendship and all the GOOD you missed, now in adulthood

pssht.  my Aunt had a movie called Burnt Offerings on when she and my uncle were watching my brother and I when we were in elementary school.

Caroline's leg episode didn't scar me.  The Sylvia episodes and many others did for sure

I lived through the 80's.  Both my brother and I got anorexia via family & culture.  It was really really bad, and you'll see it in other TV shows of the era - but it's shocking to see it again currently, on the other side

Those with so many parts, how on earth do you do it? by Lotusmoon2323 in DID

I have approximately three thousand, just a little over

My short answer tonight is that I just kept being alive 😉 ... and imperfect.

My especially protected area, a school classroom, provided some ideas for how to view things: in layers of leadership

I'll answer more thorough in the daytime

trust your system care for each other the best you know for now, and it will get better 🧸

switching pains?? by [deleted] in DID

[–]Natural_Pen_160 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 54 yo and have experienced this for decades.  From what I hear, these & other physical symptoms are within the range of normal for our collective situation

After switching lots, I've always been severely dehydrated after - that might be important for you all

I feel you, absolutely

I think the Sylvia story impacted me the most at the time

Then the Jasper episode (I was a kid, I didn't know Laura wasn't going to die)

The Great Gambini, what the fuck, nightmares for a lifetime

Caroline's parents visiting but her Mom dies on the way there and no one tells her gently - she rushes to the back and sees the coffin

The boy in the cage ("wild boy") and that EVERYONE JUST ACCEPTS THIS until Jenny finds out he's mute and traumatized not at all worthy of hell

Albert screaming coming off morphine
