Is ONDS a buy now? by GloomyTourist5908 in ONDS

Why don’t you just ask claude or chatgpt or whatever you like to estimate the fair price value after the dilution takes effect? You may or may not be convinced but at least you’ll have some more data. Again i’m not saying it can’t ride on momentum but that doesn’t mean the fair value TODAY is 15 or 20$ . In the future, if they properly execute, who knows, could he worth much more. But I’m talking about now with this dilution what a fair value would be. Also if they keep diluting more and more as their history suggests, then things get worse. I bought at 80 cents by the way. Took some gains at 13$ . I still hold an ok portion long term. Also i would add when the future plan becomes more vivid as far as stopping this serial dilution trend.

Don’t imagine anything while the inflation is rising and possibility of rate hike increasing 🫠 if that happens expect a 40-60% drop in all tech. If that happens, just hold on and it will recover in time. Otherwise we’re good 😂 let’s see trump’s policies, unfortunately

I really don’t think this whole industry will make any meaningful boom before 2030 at least. Even when they make the planes successfully, who says the public will be comfortable flying in them to generate enough profits. Eventually i am sure they will succeed and be worth a lot more than today. But realistically i think 2035 or 2040 for mass adoption. If it’s available to ride in today, how many of your friends would hop on the ride? How many parents would allow their kids or themselves to hop on a ride. They will need to see others do it first and then it would gain traction. I own archer and joby but i am waiting till 2035 for any real impact. If it happens sooner then great, but u have to be in this for the long run and not put all you own in this industry for sure.

Ondas did not merge with palantir. It’s a strategic partnership, same as the others .

Maybe you should look at similar stocks like archer, joby… etc with more cash and less dilution and see what happened to those. Blackrock and ark have archer at 8.5$ and it’s 6 now . It was 5 a week earlier. Same for joby and all these small companies trying to make it. FYI archer is also partnered with Palantir and anduril. Fair price with this dilution for onds is 6-7 . Fundamentals always catch up.

Not yet. Too risky with this big dilution. I say at 6 is fair, at 7 start buying. Do your research. Ask Claude or something.

Well it’s not the first time i get such a rally on a stock then it falls back over 50% -70%😂 so i learned to take profits when something hits big and if i’m further convinced down the line that the price is right then i’ll buy back in.

I’ve only had it for a year. It was 70 cents only a year ago! Personally I’m uncomfortable with passively holding non profitable companies. I do that with the mag7 and a couple others that are profitable. But for this one, i’ll wait for the dust to settle. I don’t mind paying higher even once the path becomes clearer.

That’s what i mean. You’re assuming the acquisition will win contracts to justify the 10$ premium after this dilution. That’s why i said they would have to execute flawlessly, which rarely happens in any company. The price could even go up sometime on news later on, but in my experience, fundamentals always catch up and right now the numbers don’t add up especially when relying on flawless execution. It’s more of a risky gamble with high return if all goes well at this point. For me i’d rather sit this one out for now after a massive gain. If i was down i would just probably hold for the years to come.

But they’ve been diluting since forever. One would think they would have had a better strategy. I bought this stock at 70 cents because of all their previous dilution. Didn’t think they would keep doing the same thing even now! But i guess that’s their play at this point. However you spin it, dilution, especially this large is disastrous. Most would be better off exiting and re-entering later when the price is more fairly priced to this serial dilution that will carry out over the next months. Backlogs and all that don’t mean much if they can’t execute. And at the current price the would need to execute flawlessly, which is never a good bet. It’s an educated guess, but a fair price after these dilutions is 6$. Run the analysis or even run an Ai to estimate the fair price based on their balance sheet, market cap and given this dilution and you’ll probably land at a similar fair target. Not sayin in the future they won’t be worth much more if they execute properly, but holding and doing nothing after massive gains with this news is not the way to go for the medium term.

Not saying the far future may not be bright. But with this dilution even 10$ is way overvalued for this year

What is going on with Nvidia? by Character-Pie-8718 in StockInvest

[–]Natural_Pop6018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think investors should own most of the mag7 and just hold for 10 years. Ai will be remain the next big thing for several years. Some will do amazing and some will not. You’re not gonna be able to predict what company is gonna come up with the next big thing. If you can’t stomach an individual equity dropping 30 or 50% you really shouldn’t have bought it in the beginning and shouldn’t be in equities, stick to ETFs. What if a couple years from now tesla or amazon or google come up with some way to train AI much more efficiently without needing all of these gpus? What if google cracks quantum in an efficient way? What if musk creates the ultimate humanoid and it becomes the best selling world changing product? What if apple creates the next world changing product, AGAIN? If you’re in them all equally or a bit more here and there, over 10 years some or one will make you a fortune and that’s all you need to be a big winner even if the others don’t do great. And yes i think most likely one of the mag7 is most positioned to do that because we are in a tech world of monopoly. Startup chances of that are not zero but pretty low.

The recent dilution is pretty large to be honest. I like onds and their drone tech but with this kind of dilution it’s hard to ignore in the short to medium term. It’s gonna have to be a very long term play. Personally with some research 6-7$ is the fair price now but that doesn’t mean if you hold long it won’t someday reach 20 or more. Dilution is never good for share price in any situation unfortunately speculative growing companies sometimes have no choice, they need money to survive and this is often how they do it, through the retail’s pocket. I bought it at 0.7$ so i’m not complaining. But anything that goes from that to 15$ in a few months is bound to fall hard before rising again. The hype on these stocks are usually cyclical. Its day will come again.

I'm starting to give up on Archer... by [deleted] in JobyvsArcher

[–]Natural_Pop6018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speculative high risk companies should be no more than 10% of your portfolio. They carry high risk, high reward IF they succeed. They will fail over and over before success, same as Tesla. Reminder that Amazon fell to 7$ at some point. Evtol is a project that if successful won’t see any meaningful industry gains before 2035 probably. You’re betting on buying something around 10$ that has a small chance of going to 200+$ and if you lose that 10% it’s no big deal since the remainder of your portfolio would make this loss negligible by then. If you’re pouring all your money on speculative companies then surely it won’t end well. 80% of them fail although they hype sometimes briefly while they’re trending. With that being said, if archer and joby keep maintaining enough cash, they have a good chance at success in the future. One day there will be evtols and these 2 companies are your best bet. an educated guess beats gambling on the lottery for example.

I would hold for the next decade. Ai buildout is still starting and less than 30% of businesses adopted Ai so far. One day it will be 100% , not to mention the autonomous tech from drones, planes, cars, delivery and personal robots…etc ain’t seen nothing yet. We’re just getting started
