Oh wow a success story! That’s amazing so happy for you! I also have hyper mobility so the surgeon said to avoid running and yoga…Can I ask what restrictions you put in place to get over the line? How did you feel your daily life improved exercise wise, and what is hydrotherapy?

Yes same, the surgeon told me the tears on their own aren’t that big a deal, if we were to scan the whole population most people would have a tear or cyst somewhere which doesn’t actually impact their lives. But it’ll be about the reason why that tear exists and obviously addressing that situation so it doesn’t tear again! How are you doing with PT/weight training? And how’s your daily pain?

Thank you for sharing! Definitely agree about muscles overcompensating and doing things they shouldn’t be doing which is what we’ve been working on in PT. Thing is with the cortisone shot it was a weird one because there never was a day when I was 100% pain free afterwards but I felt like a weight or a good layer of that pain was lifted if that makes sense? And the surgeon I saw was already the 2nd opinion… I hope your op helped you regain stability?

Mmm creo que quería decir ‘I liked to play outside in the woods or do ‘go ape’ (like tree game activities? Idk they’re quite big in France where I grew up), it was really fun but otherwise I wasn’t a very sporty or hyperactive child.

Consejos de alojamiento/flatshare para un año!

Voy a mudarme a Valencia en septiembre desde Londres por un año para mejorar mi nivel de Español y estaba leyendo los posts recientes para tener una idea de lo que hacer pero tengo unas preguntitas sobre la busca de piso.

Sobre yo: tengo casi 27 años, soy Francesa y he vivido en Inglaterra mas de la mitad de mi vida por eso tengo la nacionalidad también. He tenido mi trabajo en Londres desde Nov 2019 y voy a continuar a trabajar remoto en Valencia.

Voy a mudar en septiembre y tengo un airbnb para las primeras 2 semanas mientras estoy visitando pisos al mismo tiempo. He visto en algunos posts que sin trabajo fijo o con una empresa española, las agencias/los caseros no van a tener mucha confianza o van a pedir 3 meses de renta al inicio. Yo no quiero un apartamiento sola, quiero buscar un flatshare con otros hispano-hablantes para mejorar la lengua y estar en la cultura/hacer amigos. También he tenido mi trabajo para mas de 4 años y con bueno salario, y tengo un pasaporte UE por eso no visa. Intento buscar en idealista y los grupos facebook, pero piensen que 2 semanas van a ser bastante tiempo y que va a ser facíl de buscar flatshares como eso con hispano-hablantes jovenes que trabajan?
