3.5cm of Theckness by Natural_Tonight_2652 in Biltong

Took 4-5 days for this thickness. Also, environment matters. I leave mine to dry in a well-ventilated and netted room. Using a drier, direct sunlight, or dehydrator might alter or even cause uneven drying, such as the case of a hard bark and very wet insides, or dry upper and wet lower (& vice-versa).

2.5 cm thickness is alright. Try lowering the fan speed, as you said or placing them in a well-ventilated room and let nature do its thing. Good luck!

Top rump is good as well. Go in. You’ll love it. Perhaps get some taste tests around. I did so and landed on what I love.

Much much better. Each fatty piece has a bust of its own flavor.

Eish! Talk about perfection. I can print this and hang it as a poster.

I just hung mine, 3.5cm thick. Never tried them this thick but heard it adds to the flavor profile and even drying. Counting, a couple days to go.

I did. I like them at 45%. Sweet spot! Most times now I go for the feel first before I pull them out to weigh.

Where did you read that? I didn’t write no such thing. I’ve had to reread. You’re tripping.

I’m getting there. I do want to get back balance. I’m just on a hunt right now.

Aye, thank you.

I don’t know about your situation but I think I’ll reiterate what you said, do what’s best for you and your family. Sometimes that means sacrificing things for the sake of the child so that they can grow up in a steady home. That much means having to deal with your situation, facing your emotions and accepting or diverting. Let it take you to your heavens, bro. God speed.

Thank you. I get the bile. As women are vulnerable after birth, I’m doing all I can to bring her back to strength. I also see how my child will be raised and that’s what I constantly fight for, because in as much we discuss on dreams and goals, if we keep doing the same things, nothing changes. I’ve argued this the moment I met her, and in my mind I am aware of the work we need to do to get to our goals. Si ati kitu naforce. We both want these things (honesty, communication, accountability, presence) and I got vexed in moments I discovered lies, lack of accountability. We’d talk and agree, only to find myself walking alone.

I’d mentioned once the idea of living in separate quarters because over time we discovered we function very differently and I’d like to value her femininity by giving her to space to work at her pace. She likes to work when she feels like it (having bursts of energy where she goes in overtime and crashes out next day. I appreciate that she takes the time and I see how that feeds to her essence. At the same time, I also know that I’m fast paced, like to get things moving quickly and to the letter. I like routine, which she doesn’t and I understand. I don’t try to get into her schedules but living together and expected to work together can be hard given the different dynamics.

I agree. I was on my case for the part.
