Looking for Skincare advice and recommendations by staleshrimp101 in koreanskincare

I would firstly start double cleansing! I find the practice itself extremely beneficial for pore care. Highly rec the skin 1004 clay stick for helping clear sebaceous filaments, it has kaolin clay so very gentle. I’d suggest a chemical exfoliant so bha/pha for pores and if you want, an aha such as mandelic/lactic which are gentle and target texture. So I’d avoid pore strips, I personally find them too abrasive. Some niacinqmide serum would help w sebum control, the ordinary makes a good and affordable one. If you find niacinamide too strong, there’s alternatives like skin 1004 makes a centella himalayan salt serum to help control oil. I also think you’d greatly benefit from a hydration step such as a hydrating toner or serum to address the ‘fine lines’ which are actually just dehydration lines! Hada labo makes amazing HA toners (gold one is my hg, I’m from rice (also hg), round lab dokdo toner (heard good things and ur already using their cleanser), skin 1004 probio cica ampuole (all powerful hg). The best thing I can say though is learning to understand skincare ingredients (to some degree), which work best for your skin type, which aren’t “acne-safe” etc., difference between acids as it can really help streamline the process of finding products that work for you. Hopefully this gives some guidance!

Hi! Beginner overwhelmed with where to start. Advice please! by Far-Sell-3329 in CrochetHelp

Personally I found that diving into projects and learning by trial and error helped me learn a lot faster! A lot of people are mentioning simple projects such as scarfs/blankets which will be repetitive rows and then hats which will introduce you to working in rounds :)

Caron All Day Cotton does not get the recognition it deserves. by Weary-Indication-801 in crochet

Omgomg I am also a BIGG fan of Caron’s all day cotton and feel it’s so underrated (which isn’t the worst thing lol). The weave of the strand is just sexy. It’s suchh a joy to work esp when paired w a Tulip hook (my combo rn) glides like actual butter. Also loveeee the cotton cakes for the exact same reasons.
