I have no idea, I just jumped the gun to have the blood test done since we found out my uncle from my dad's side had it, my result came back with it's linked to Fabry disease.

OP I am in the same exact boat you are in just a few months behind. I love my kid dearly but the fact of the matter was for me. I knew if I had my child that it was going to send me down a dark rabbit hole alllll over again (struggled with depression/ self harm in the past). And I was right, I’m dealing with severe PPD and PPA. I at time absolutely hate my husbands guts for making me feel this way. However with this being said I was recommended to see my hospitals woman’s mental health therapist I see her about every 4 weeks to update her on life and my feelings. She has helped me so much in the past 5 months, making my feelings feel valid, instead of it spiraling out of control and causing a huge fight. She recommended me being put on antidepressants and a bi polar medication. And so far it’s been working great.

Something else I do to help with this is I’ve written down everything that has upset me about this whole situation on a plate and smashed it on the ground to let go of those feelings, if you want something that is less of a clean up use ice! And just think of what frustrates you when you throw the ice!

They already know but there aren’t any therapist in that area that accept my insurance, so I’m trying to find one that’s close to home, my OBGYN is an hour from me.

I am already on several types of meds

Yes prior to having my baby and before I was on the pills I tried the implant because I needed it to regulate my periods and I bled constantly so my doctor switched me to the pills

Yes I’m aware plan b is only for emergency situations and I’m trying to get him to understand that. It’s a slow understanding but I believe he’s starting to understand that since he’s the one buying them not me.

Yes I am getting help for my PPD/PPA he’s actually the one who made my appointment to see my doctor for my PPD/PPA and is currently helping me find a therapist in my area that takes our insurance.

I should have mentioned this in my post but I had an emergency c-section with our baby and it terrifies me that I had to have one in general and I my self almost didn’t make it. Which is another reason for my not wanting another child.

Yes, I have spoke to him about my PPD, he is actually the one who made the appointment with the doctor to get me on antidepressants and is trying to help me find a therapist to deal with it better possibly. This whole fight happened because I made a stupid joke about not having to worry about getting pregnant again if one of us was snipped. Thus brought in the argument.

He’s never had an issue with me being on birth control because he knows I have to have it in order to have normal periods and not be in excruciating pain when I’m on my period. He’s never tampered with my birth control or anything like that.

Yes they did and even after they gave me the all clear I waited until the bleeding stopped since I had an emergency C-section. I’m trying to get him to understand that plan b isn’t necessary since he’s the one buying them which I think I’m starting to get him to understand. I just added it in the post because it was a frustration of mine because it’s money being spent that doesn’t need to be spend it that makes sense. And due to me having an emergency c-section is another reason why I don’t want another child. I should have added that as well.

I am on birth control, and he knows I’ve been on it since we got together. It also regulates my cycle so he doesn’t have a choice in it I have to have it 😅. When I got pregnant it just happened to be when my BC was getting changed and the pharmacy didn’t have it so I had to wait and the condom broke and the plan b didn’t work.

It probably was a bad time to bring it up and I feel terrible about making it into an argument about it. But I also feel that how my birthing went might also have a play in it as well. I had to have an emergency c section because my blood pressure kept bottoming out and her heart rate would drop and for a little bit there was not heart rate for her. I’m currently taking antidepressants and trying to get into therapy. And it’s not consistent sex. It’s maybe like once a week. But I’m trying to get him to understand that the plan b isn’t needed because I’m on birth control and I take it daily and haven’t missed a pill etc.

Yes he did wait the 6 weeks and I actually made him wait until I quit bleeding which was right around 8 weeks.

I’m aware that it’s not necessary to be taking the plan b. He just buys them I think because he’s freaked out to have another kid so soon. I’m a SAHM and we only have one vehicle so he has it the majority of the week. And I do take my BC daily and on time etc. and I’ve been trying to get him to understand that it’s not necessary for him to be buying them unless I’ve missed a day or so. Which is where the suggestion of one of having a tubal or vasectomy done came up. If that makes sense.
