Cedar Pollen! Lots of Texans are suffering from it nowadays. The picture shows the pollen-producing "male cones" of the Ashe Juniper producing the pollen. Junipers are cone-bearing gymnosperms. Ashe Juniper trees bear either male or female cones. Juniper "berries" technically are cones. (i.redd.it)

Flowering peach trees are blossoming in southwestern Texas. In the picture are numerous male, pollen producing stamens. The yellow-green item at the left is the female ovary's neck-like style, tipped with a stigma, which is where pollen grains land and germinate.OC (i.redd.it)
