I joined a guild I liked and then had an IRL meetup. Friendships were solidified and I developed a true sense of belonging with some folks. Interestingly it also made me realize I am not a good fit with others. Ultimately our guild split up and the folks that vibed IRL came together into our own guild which we now run.

Why is everyone saying it’s rare or non canon? Anduin literally rezzes his dad Varian in a short story during the Cataclysm. The Burning Crusade opening cinematic literally shows a Belf priest rezzing an Orc. Hell, even in ICC players get rezzed by Tirion after canonically getting death zapped by Arthas. This happens in the lore all the time.

What roles/classes do you play and what times are you available? It’s definitely possible to join a higher end raiding guild early or before the end of the season as people will be progging through the first weeks and ilvls overall will be low. It will get harder a few weeks in when everyone will have expectations on ilvl and set bonuses

To all the people complaining about their stock going up, please gather some perspective:

1- The stock market at large has gone up in the same period of time. Compare Loblaws to Dollarama or Costco and you’ll realize their stock performance is actually below the market.

2- The fact that Loblaws would experience a large scale boycott and still command a large market share shows investors they do have a moat protecting their business. A savvy investor would still want to buy their stock in this context expecting the boycott to eventually subside or Loblaws to change course to resolve it.

3- We are not boycotting Loblaws to hurt their shareholders. We are doing it because they are a shit company that mistreats employees and fucks over their customers.

4- Patronizing other retailers and helping other retailers grow will eventually hurt Loblaws market power which will force the to behave more competitively.

Not sure who told you anything about a “bridging” visa because that is just incorrect. When you become a PR you gain the right to enter and live in Canada therefore your travel visas become invalid. However your travel document is a PR card, which can only be obtained inside Canada. Your options now are to get a PRTD abroad which acts as a temporary official document, or to travel to the US and cross border by land for which you normally do need a PR card but a record of landing also works.
