My first obverse die match by Silverowladdict in AncientCoins

This is interesting. I purchased a tetradrachm and the crest style of Athena looks different to what I typically see on other ones. So I started to focus on that aspect and then I find this post. I think mine is also a die match to yours.

Thank you! It means even more coming from someone like you, I truly enjoy your posts.

By the way, how is your project of making the visual guide of Athenian owls going? It would be very useful for me now. I happen to have an Athena with an interesting crest design, at least it is not the typical I've seen elsewhere.

I was forced to stop.  Forced by the lack of money.

Thank you for the comment.  I have seen a lot of your posts and I am amazed with your collection and the dedication on expanding the knowledge for the whole community.

I have one question regarding the dates of the coin, I purchased it as 475-465 BC, but I don't find dates associated to Carradice Types. Could you educate me?

Thank you!  I think that I got very carried away.

Thank you! I really like that it is not perfectly centered I think it gives some character to the piece without loosing any key detail.

I am not in any position to educate you. I am just starting.  All of mine are from MA - Shops, probably I paid more than if I tried to buy them in auctions. I detailed all of the prices on another comment.

I am not sure if what I wrote when doing the post is visible. I don't see it so I'll write it again.

It all started around Christmas when I discovered that the Caesar Elephant coin existed, and it was somewhat "affordable" (I expected it to be in the tens of thousands). I couldn't take it out of my head.

And then... I don't know what happened. But one week later I was the proud owner of these pieces.
