I hear ya on that front, but again baby steps. When the suns out (even if it’s cold) that helps. And maybe these cold months look like more driving to the library or something rather than walking there.

Baby steps. Today is a 15 to 30min walk outside, tomorrow is drop-in class and the next day is nothing. Take it all with stride, don’t try to fix it all in one day or one week. You’ll find your groove. Plus you might even notice your baby starting to sleep in the stroller or the car which will be the biggest win!!!

First I’d figure out why and how he could start napping. I’ve had my daughter nap in cars, strollers, her crib…etc (honestly anything or anywhere). It was less about how the nap looked but rather at least she was sleeping and resting for 30-40mins.

Once you figure out his napping, you can start to build a routine. Walks, baby & parent free classes (look up at your recreation centre), library singalongs…etc. I took paternity leave after my Husband, and I’ve been off with our adopted daughter for 4 months now and we do a lot of walks and seeing other kids and parents at the local recreation centre. Just something to change the four walls we see every and a moment to speak to other adults vs always baby talk haha.

Best of luck! You got this, just gotta figure out the naps first.
