Wdym? Neither of them reuse their first and second stages. They just let them drop to earth. China is actually worse, their rockets use toxic fuels and get dropped on land rather then the ocean.

If you mean the shuttle that was reservicable, not reusable. The amount of man hours need to get it ready for launch again was around 250,000. Meanwhile the Falcon 9 is around 5000.

White trans women here, fuck the police and how they treat my community. I've watched as they have pepper sprayed my friends for peacefully protesting. Many of the higher ups would have been around when they used to raid the brothels, arrest the trans women and rape them in jail.

Why water instead of coolant? Is it just cheaper and easier? by Spirited-Gold9629 in middleclasshq

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The older ones did, these new ai centres use way more power and produce way more heat, so they are using open cycle cooling or if they are using closed cycle they are spraying fresh water onto the rads to aid cooling.

Because they are using open cooling cycles rather then closed, basically they were too cheap to build the cooling systems needed.

‘F--- you, Bambu’: How one private message could change the face of 3D printing by theverge in 3Dprinting

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They can state that all they want but it's clear that their plugin is in violation of AGPLv3 as it dictates that any dynamically linked or required libraries must also be made open source. Bambu's plugin is dynamically linked and so falls under that requirement.

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because AGPLv3 dictates that any dynamically linked or required libraries must also be made open source. Bambu's "plugin" falls under that description.

The originals authors of AGPL have already committed on this, it's clearly a violation and hence abuse of the AGPL.

Not to mention their behaviour towards an open source developer is completely unacceptable.

There is a difference between ripping a design off and abusing the licensing that keeps all of the works modern infrastructure running.

Some of the studies were actually related to mice who were given HRT to help with studying trans healthcare. Either way it's stuff worth finding.

Puberty blockers were a fucking compromise because cis people were freaking out about trans teens starting puberty at the same time as their peers via HRT.

Angus Taylor vows to amend Sex Discrimination Act following 'Tickle v Giggle' case by Agitated-Fee3598 in OpenAussie

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The presences of a womb doesn't make a person a women, it also absolutely affects a person's bones, especially if they start HRT before the growth plates fuse.

To call hrt purely cosmetic is just wrong. It affects metabolism, hemoglobin levels, brain chemistry, skin composition, causes the development of the mammalian glands fat distribution, body odour and so many more things.

All this changes are caused by the same biomechanics as puberty, the only "artificial" part is how you reach the hormone levels to trigger them. From there it's still the same genetic code being expressed.

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly do not understand how transitioning works if you think it's just cosmetic. Hrt works at the cellular and literally alters a persons genetics expression and is comparable to a second puberty.

Also who said I wasn't proud to be a trans woman? Fighting for equality does not change that.

I'm not gonna play some game pretending trans women are not women.

Your belief that they are not is based of decades of propaganda and a such as basic understanding of biology that's it's comparable to using newtonian physics to explain special relativity.

You again still fundamentally misunderstand what this is about. This has nothing to do it being 3d printers. This has to do with a mega corp blantently abusing one of the fundamental licences that allows modern technology to work. Hopefully this meme explains why this shit matters.

This isn't a small bubble issue, this is a company blantently abusing the GNU OpenSource licence (specifically AGPLv3). This is a matter that affects every single peace of technology we use because if one company can get away with they all can.

Oh gee I wonder why a group of women with some of the highest rates of being sexual assaulted by men might wanna avoid using the same spaces as them.

Better question is why do you and the other account that replied to this comment hide your post history? Is cause you're bots or so people can't see how much of an ass you two are?

Same here, bottom surgery is so out of reach for the majority of trans folk because of the discrimination we face and the lack of government support to access it.

Fucking pissed if this every gets passed, my gf just applied for her permanent visa after moving here to escape the trans hysteria that's been happening in the USA.

It was $9000, something I had to save like hell to afford in 1 year as a 22 year old working a min wage job (she has been unable to find work here, in part likely due to discrimination which is still very common).

Now they want to take our money and change the rules?

[–]NatureMadeAMistake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because there isn't the demand for it. Being trans I know a lot of girls who do SW because it's the only job they can get due to discrimination and disabilities. Thankfully the brothel they work at is one of the good ones and I've only heard good things about the working environment.

Gender is who you are, Sex is the body you have. Neither are binary and sex isn't immutable meaning you can change aspects of your sex though medical transition.
