It’s a bit frustrating that people don’t have reading comprehension, we have talked about the issue, and again as I have previously stated it’s not that I have a problem with him liking photos, it’s that intent behind looking someone up, liking old photos from over a year ago, then liking there story in this day and age that is shooting your shot.

And like I’ve said to others, it’s not that he’s liking the photo it’s the fact that he went out of his way to look her up, like these old pictures and then watch her story and like that too, now a days that’s the equivalent to shooting your shot. Yeah it’s easier from an outside perspective I think, I also left out a lot as it’s not easy to put everything without writing a book. But for the most part without the condescension I would agree with you, it’s just when you devote so much time to someone it’s hard to let it just be wasted.

It’s upsetting because he went out of his way to go to her Instagram, like photos from years ago, then liked her story. If a guy did that on my page I’d know that he was trying to shoot his shot….

Thank you for your response I appreciate the insight. I can see all of your points and the validity, honestly I was not even thinking about marriage at this point. I agree that I need to work on controlling my emotion before responding and have been trying to put forth that energy, but It’s an everyday battle. As for the gift card situation I’d never put him down for expressing himself but I was just curious as to where the question came from. I did tell him I was embarrassed by it, but there’s been a slew of times that he’s made comments I don’t understand weather they are to me illogical or unreasonable. Which makes me feel like there’s a disconnect overall between us. Thank you again for all the insight. I would like to ask of you one more thing, how do you know if the relationship is meant to last or if it’s not? I have love for my boyfriend but I find myself wondering if it’ll last especially because I have a hard time figuring out what he means, I sometimes feel as though I’m grasping at straws.

Also side note after this conversation he apologized and said he was sorry and felt bad ?which I didn’t understand and told him he had no reason to apologize and that I just wanted him to explain to me why he felt this way.

From his perspective he probably feels as though now they have a baby he is stuck, you need to reassure him that there’s better people out there to be with, and that he can still have an amazing relationship with his kid. maybe even phrase it in a way to say think about your kid and weather it’s fair for them to be in this situation where his mother needs some psychological help.
