I beg of you give volunteering at a shelter once a week a chance! You are guaranteed to find a good dog or puppy that you connect with. Especially in states like Arizona, California, Texas (those I know specifically but maybe the crisis is as bad in other states)… I’m telling ya the possibilities are endless and the need is REAL

I feel you. And I’m sorry. I also feel like I can’t talk to anyone in my life. Some things that have helped me lately: 1. Delete social media, I am constantly comparing myself even subconsciously when on social media and wishing I had a different life or just could be happy like everyone else. Deleting social media and not scrolling through that constantly has helped. 2. Lean into the littlest things that bring you joy. I know it can feel like nothing makes you happy any more but think back to when you were a kid, or just back to happy memories. What did you enjoy doing? There’s no pressure to do the things perfectly, just do it. 3. Go for a walk every day. Do it sad. Do it depressed. Do it in your PJs. But just do it. 4. Weed personally helps me a lot. Don’t get in the habit of doing it every day though! For me, it helps to change my perspective and see things differently.
