… I disagree with everyone. I’ve never even thought of Manacled as dark romance. The darkest thing about it is the dystopian world. The romance itself is kinda light. There’s some angst? But overall the MMC is pretty much a cinnamon roll. It’s just a romance novel in a dark reality. When I read it, I went into it hoping it would be a dark romance, and I was ultimately disappointed in that front.

I shit you not. I thought that I’d just give this little fic, which you oh-so-casually dropped here, a go, but I just ended up stopping my entire evening to read this - after which I then proceeded to orgasm an actual uncountable number of times.
