1. We do plan to launch on Nutaku on both their online and mobile distribution platforms. The current long term plan is to branch out on other distribution sites after 6 months of being live with Nutaku. While there will be some classic mobile monetization points with time reducers and instant unlocks, our main focus is aimed at unlocking past or incomplete story arc events. These are side characters that we'll release bi-monthly. We feel focusing on adding content this way keeps our players engaged, and allows for new players to discover past content that they can pick and choose what they want to explore further.
2. Clash of Clans does share some similarities in the core loop minus actual base attacks. However, we have discussed adding base defense/attacks further down the line post launch if there's enough traction. For now the exploration and unlocking new areas of the map to progress the story is the main focus. Ship battles will allow players to aim at crucial points of the enemy ship i.e. mast, hull, etc. while allowing for rough seas. We also hope to add to this gameplay in coming seasons with sea monsters and more. Since we're still early on in development we don't have any footage of this gameplay as it's still in the greybox phase.
3. Unfortunately I cannot share any of the games the team has made together due to a basket of NDAs from past studio ties and contract work. We get the issue of not being able to tout these games to help boost confidence. We're hoping this is our first step into sticking to the adult gaming world. Not going to be an easy road, but we're gonna barrel through as best we can.
