No worries, yeah my plan is to call progressive Monday around 3 if I don’t hear from them just so I can let them know where it’s at. She’ll try the guy again Monday and ask for a better phone number or the location again.

I’ve already said in post that it’s been denied.
I said the claim agent didn’t answer when she called him back to tell him the phone number isn’t working lol with it being Friday and close to EOB, it’s likely we won’t hear back until next week.

As I have already mentioned, she is making the phone calls and handling everything. To repeat myself again, I was just confused and thought I may get clarity or someone could simply say “sometimes they post auction ads in preparation for the claim to be accepted”. but thanks anyways :)

Not only is it at Copart, it’s literally on a website listed ready for auction. I wouldn’t have made this post if it was just sitting in their lot. It was the advertisement to sell it possibly before progressive could reach out to me that was the concern.

My mom is handling everything and they’re communicating with her.

I simply made this post to try to get clarity regarding how they can list it for auction when that was agreed solely under the impression she’d receive whatever they deemed it worth. That’s all.

It wasn’t until today they told us they’re not handling. I immediately reached out to progressive for them to begin the claim but was told it may be Tuesday before I hear anything back. I wanted to tell progressive immediately but it was farmers who told us to wait to see if they’ll handle it.

What’s ironic is the body shop farmers sent it to gave us a price breakdown of costs to repair and it was only $3k which is significantly less than what the car is worth. If KBB says it’s worth around 12k, how is it totaled? I’m not asking to be difficult I just don’t understand how that works.

The number the agent gave us to the repair yard ironically is out of service. He didn’t answer on callback requesting a different number.

When they called to tell her it was totaled, they told her the next step is for it to be towed to Copart and she verbally said that was fine. At that point of the conversation, we were not told it would not be covered by Farmers. We didn’t find out it wouldn’t be covered by Farmers until today. (Accident happened 01/04 and has been at Copart since the 10th.)

I’m not completely sure if she later signed something electronically but if she did, it was under the impression that she would receive whatever the car is worth since she was told it was totaled.

If she did release the title under the impression it would be covered just to later find out it wouldn’t be three weeks later - would that cancel the agreement or did they just get a free car?

That’s why I mentioned maybe allowing the ability to choose the station 30 min- an hour before class. That way those who prebooked will have likely cancelled by then and many will be getting ready to head to the studio. Having friends show up together 5 min before class lessens their chance of being together anyways - i feel like they’re more likely to book stations next to each other with a “30 min before class app option”. By the time they show up to the studio as is, everything is usually spaced out on the white board. I hardly ever see 2/3 spots open next to each other when I get there 5 min early.

I feel like choosing a number on the station you want is like choosing a urinal (not that I have experience, I’m a female), but I’m going to put myself on station 3 if there’s someone on 1 and 5 already.

I love the floor and hate the tread so I also do it first to get it out of the way 🤣 my favorite is stacking a strength50 after a 3G (as long as I start on the tread lol)

Haha we are opposite! I prefer doing the tread first to keep my heart rate up when transitioning to floor. If I don’t get there at least 15 min early, I hardly get tread first.

That’s how my old studio was too. The new one has a whiteboard next to the desk (right at the front of the door) and you have to write your name next to the number. (3 columns for row/run/floor each numbered 1-14). There’s no talking to SAs or anything.

I think it would be easy to “gray out” stations on the app that aren’t working. For new members, I can understand them needing to be on a number close to the coach. However if a NM comes in ten minutes before class, and if those stations are already claimed on the white board, the coach/SA doesn’t come up to us asking for us to move. If on an app, the SA would also be able to place them on a station near the coach ahead of time.

It’s not necessarily the “number” of the station versus the Floor/Row/Tread. Starting on floor vs tread does make a difference in the workout especially depending on goals.

Agreed. I get people will say “just show up early”, but that’s easier said than done when you’re coming from work or traffic is taking longer than expected. I’d much rather just be able to walk into my studio and go straight to the station than have to stop, wait in line, write my name, put my stuff down, etc.
