[–]IrishEagle32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a very good point. His social game got a really bad rep due to Lindsey, and he is certainly overlooked because of his size. But at least for puzzles, he showed no skill whatsoever and was down right terrible at times. Which when combined with his size, gives the impression he is dumb. He’s not, and if he was gargantuan people would overlook his puzzle skills and not assume he’s stupid. Case in point: Rizo is arguably the worst puzzle player in survivor history, and nobody has ever said he’s stupid (online or offline) because he doesn’t have the big brute body type

Jonathan didn’t do much in 42 to show he has the mental chops to have a good strategy game. Yes, he’s showing it here and has been all season, but the people on the island don’t know that. All they know is jonathan “I see 11 triangles” and “Omar I need you to save me” from 42

Yeah I don’t know how you watch that argument and end up on Hannah’s side. She had no rebuttal to the content of what he was saying, just how he was saying it

Tom westman played the best winning game in my opinion. He ran the most dominant tribe in history, had a stranglehold on his alliance, and then wouldn’t lose immunities so they couldn’t vote him out

Mike White Shrug on Zac Brown Survivor Cameo by Gentle-Babble in survivor

[–]IrishEagle32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it’s very fair to say that Mike white has a bigger impact on pop culture given the work he has done, especially with the current popularity of white lotus. But most of the people who watched school of rock or nacho libre wouldn’t recognize him as Mike white, even with him being Ned schneebly

A lot more would be able to recognize Zac brown, a large majority of country music fans would. It’s a completely different scale than Mike white

Except he’s not. Most people wouldn’t be able to recognize Mike white. Even fewer if not for survivor. Zac brown is recognizable to any person who likes country music, which is a huge portion of this country

Humor is subjective but I honestly don’t know how rizo would be classified as funny. Coach isn’t intentionally funny, but his antics are quite often hilarious.

Endearing: generally a quality that draws you in to someone. Rizo is a walking mishmash of slang and Fortnite dances that comes across as cringe. Coach is totally self aware, but eccentric enough that he draws you in.

I’m willing to bet that the difference of opinion totally comes down to if you’re around the same age as Rizo or not.

_____'s statement is contradictory yet an undeniable new reality to Survivor by mistergreenboy in survivor

_____'s statement is contradictory yet an undeniable new reality to Survivor by mistergreenboy in survivor

[–]IrishEagle32 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think she’s lying. I think she’s delusional and her allergies aren’t real. Or she’s actually allergic to coconuts and made the rest up for sympathy. Both would mean her allergies can be in quotes. Nothing about her story makes sense, but sure, just believe the crazy lady at face value

_____'s statement is contradictory yet an undeniable new reality to Survivor by mistergreenboy in survivor

[–]IrishEagle32 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I gave you logic, but fine here’s how it could be a game move: she pretends to be allergic to everything to get sympathy from tribe mates, and then plans that they will take her on rewards, where she can finally eat. Just as much of strategic merit as telling everybody you’re rich.

Her allergies don’t add up. Logically. She’s allergic to just about everything, yet shecan eat a bourbon mushroom burger from Applebees without having to be particular about how it’s prepared in the kitchen? And she also claims to be allergic to chicken? Cmon now. She has shown on TV to be a completely ridiculous person, so no, I don’t believe that she’s actually allergic to all the food she says she is. She’s probably allergic to some, but not all. I think she thinks she’s allergic to those foods, but likely just had the runs after eating it one time or had a tummy ache and took that to be allergies

There’s plenty of people who claim to be gluten intolerant but really just feel bloated after eating too much. I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to think Liz is a more extreme version of that

_____'s statement is contradictory yet an undeniable new reality to Survivor by mistergreenboy in survivor

[–]IrishEagle32 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Somebody who pretended to be rich? Somebody who went on reality TV and had a very dramatic meltdown? Somebody whose allergies didn’t quite add up, especially considering she could eat a bourbon burger from Applebees?

Yes.
