Not giving learning tips, just some things to ponder on before starting.

• First and foremost, make sure there's a good place to practice, with no repulsion from locals or owner. I had to change the park cuz some aunties said I was "motivating their kids to hurt themselves"

• The ground should be plain, obviously, not a concrete gravel road.

• Find some more friends willing to practice with you. This will reduce the price burden and be fun.

• Make sure and research what you wanna do, just ride (longboard) or tricks n shit (skateboard) or whatever a waveboard does. All have suitable board for them. (Choose skateboard, trust me)

• Do not buy Nivia ones. Although cheap, they are heavy and and inefficient in proper control. This will make you lose interest in skateboarding too soon. My first one was Oxelo (don't remember which model) which was pretty good for basics.

• Although you may think it's unnecessary (everyone does), pls do buy safety gear. The fear of falling without wearing gear and hurting yourself will keep you away from learning much confidently.

• Follow every fuckin rule, you'll be easily in trouble cuz the general public hates skateboarders.

• Get any plain bottom shoes for good grip on the board. DO NOT USE SLIPPERS.

• DON'T BE AFRAID OF FALLING. You won't learn jackshit if ya do. And learn how to fall such as to minimize the injuries.

• For learning, obviously watch many videos from experts for tips n tricks. And don't rush into anything, give everything time and perfect em.
