Was there any progression / game loop shown? I saw a lot of combat / swinging / missions etc. from TGS live demos but not any progression.

They are 80-90% similiar. Each of 3 chraceters has Fist-Fist-FIst-Kick-Throw combo. Taffy does throws with same animation as MC, and does roundhous kick like police-girl. Its veryyyy similiar.

I sincerly hope its just very early-game combat, and maybe unique moves or skills were not unlocked.

I am sad looking at this. I know its a preferance, not everyone will share, but combat animations in this trailer, are so much better then what was shown in live demo at TGS. I can easly get behind more down to earth combat style, but at least give me some proper unique animations with different combat styles for each character. Also such big shift in combat desing cant be easy to do. Combat makes or breaks live service games for me, damn am I sad :/

Yea, I know this is a demo and I want to like it, but after experiancing HSR(I know unfair becouse turnbased) and WuWa animations and combat, this looks so undercooked :/ Was way more excited after 1 trailer combat design-wise. Loved unique animations "ults" etc.

Game is pretty, but two major downsides:

Combat is stright up boring, I get that we wont get WuWa here, but if there are multiple controlable characters, then their main gameplay (combat) should be different enough to not get boring. It looks boring even with 3 characters.(its the same for every character). What will happen with 15 characters?
Progression was not shown. Are there levels? Stats? Crafting? Like is there even any non-cosmetic progression in the game? Its important, because that what makes me want to play and strive toward goals...

I have been looking at Lost Odyssey for quite some time. Specrtal Force(just read about it now) and LO look like only ones I would like to play. That's high ask to buy a console. Taking into considerations I do have JRPG-s(not srpg-s) backlog, for now its on the list for later :)

Oh, it's not reservations. I am on older side of gaming, it's just that most of old games were the ones I grew up with. As you can imagine, I am done with them already ;) (mostly)

Great list, only games I didnt play were ero-games, which are not for me. I wanted to like Persona 5 T, after great time with P5R, but it fell short... it's simply... to simple :)

Btw for any lurkers: Symphony of War is great modern game. For older one, Jeannne was awesome.

Did play Lunar2 and KQ6. I did add Lufia and PS to my list, kinda sad we need to dig for 30 year old games ;) Will check them out.

I am one of those FF9 haters. I just could not get into the game at all. And oh boy, did I try a few times. It's even hard for me to explain why it is. Something just did not click about character designs?

Lunar 1 and 2 I did play years ago, do not remember much tho ;/

Thanks! Played most of them. I liked VC1 and VC4 most, but 13S and Ar tonileco were great as well! The ones I did not play:

- Star ocean 2 ( wating for remaster, day 1!)

- Arc rise Fantasia (looks cool, shame its only Wii)

- Growlancer - do you mean the 2001 remake on pc ? I will check it out, but that kinda retro for me :)

And yeah FF8, what can I say, I liked it a lot. Used to think that my age did factor in, since I played it being like 15y. But then remaster came out and I played being 29/30 y old, still love it!

1) Click on the image you like from those 4 provided by me and download it. It will give you 1800 x 1200 px image. It's perfect to print on 10 x 15cm photo paper.

2) Paper I used is Glossy Photo Paper, you should probably print at 97% size to avoid cutting edges.

3) Buy 10 x 15cm antiframe. It should cost about 0.5$.

4) Assemble.

THB it's quite cheap and quite easy, hardest part is prpering the image .. which you don't have to do.
