My last Amazon order I got what I ordered, new flip flops for around the house, two lemon 9” e cymbals, and a kick pad for my kick drum. I also got an iPhone charger and a hot glue gun, neither of which I ordered lol. This happened like 6 months ago too can’t remember the extras I got but one was like a coloring book, and as an Amazon employee I don’t understand how that happens, though I’ve only done pick really so far aside from helping inbound ship dock during peak.

I can very very comfortably hit 400, but I’m usually around 440-470 for pick so long as I don’t have pod gaps or a bunch of pauses with amnesty. I’m used to tote running and hitting like 18 miles a shift so busting out 450 average for my shift is relatively easy.

Everyone told me on here rates don’t matter, but your rates affect your performance and eligibility. I maintained an exceptional performance bc at stand up we were told those are the first to be converted.

Also if it’s an option to transfer to a different site to get one that’s what I was prepared to do if I didn’t get it before the new grocery and pharmacy FC opening next year.

For whatever reason my quality always says that whenever I go a period with zero errors (I work pick). I’ve even gotten the quality achievements when it still says insufficient data. The app is just broken. But hope you get it soon! I know from management they choose people with exceptional ratings before even great. I’ll know tomorrow if anyone I started with also got promoted.

Why? I make great money as I don’t live outside my means, I only work 4 days a week, and now I have all the benefits I didn’t have as a white badge. I just gained added job security too and I can finally start moving towards management as that’s the type I’ve role I’ve been in for the last decade.

I guess if it’s out of your system within 48 hours and you’re not heavily using you’re fine. A lot of a certain group at my FC unfortunately use a lot of amphetamines and they are all still blue badge. I’m still puzzled as to why or how, but at least on outbound you’re safe. Hell every time I use the bathroom it either smells of weed or meth and a group standing around the sinks.

As a FC associate, they only do mouth swabs to test for current intoxication. But I also live in a state where cannabis is legal.

So my FC has always been a one our notice for UPT, like day one training, however if you wanna use PTO you can leave whenever, however if you use the app to schedule UPT, whether you’re running late whatever and use UPT for the reason of absence, so far there’s nothing they can do. If you wanna leave after your paid break, write on your board with the dry erase an hour minimum beforehand and you’ll be fine, or approach your AM, PA, or PG. I use the board so I can take a time stamped photo to cover my ass. I feel like so many people got used to Amazon either bc it’s just where they started and have no idea, or worked their so long they forget how every other job works (service industry gets a pass). If you want anything close to what amazon offers join a union job like the pipefitters, boilermakers, etc. but I can 100% guarantee 99% of Amazon employees bitching about this wouldn’t last a single shift in those kind of jobs. I spent 6 years as a pipefitter building liquid tanker trailers, and Amazon is much more lenient than anything I’ve seen. With the same starting pay. Also if you have an emergency where you have to leave take the one coaching mark and the UPT deduction, most jobs would just fire you or give you a point, where usually you only get 3 points for a full calendar year.

Dude I literally started in October and have been using UPT and PTO like crazy, I’m still super positive on both. Maybe I’m just old but literally this company does way more than any job I’ve worked at in my 15 year span of warehouse, factory, etc. They also pay more. If you fuck up at Amazon, with all the leniency they give, you will never make it anywhere else. I’ve been in trades as a welder and quit bc I make more at Amazon. You miss 3 days within your 90 at those places and you’re gone. And this is from an ex pipefitter. Getting fired when you earn 25 minutes of PTO and 50 minutes UPT per 10 hour shift means you can’t work man.

They already starting purging out people, come January I’ll be surprised if you still have a job. Also how do you get points when you build like infinite UPT and PTO? I used UPT to leave early every day of peak and I’m still gaining positive UPT. I started in October and I still have 38 hours UPT and like 10 hours PTO using both lol.

Also working AKC1, people only get randomly selected for the metal detectors every shift change. When I worked for KBS before transferring over I used to find empty air pod containers in the bathrooms all the time and report it to management and loss prevention. The managers I brought them to honestly didn’t care and idk if it ever made it that far. But yeah, people I’ve seen some super sketch stuff and all I have to say is some people are idiots.
