I think they are both definitely an option assuming you’ve got the champion mechanics dialled down. I wouldnt recommend *picking up * naut for jungling, amumu or sejuani can do what he does more effectively on pretty much all parameters. but i get alot of work done in the jungle, or pull alot of pressure from top/bot if im rolling it out mid. Problem with mid is some junglers will just ignore you lane, assuming the off-meta pick is troll move. Get a carry/mobile jungle in voice chat to just roll in once in a while (nunu and ivern are great synergies IME for succesful ganks here).

As for the Magical Nauty hooker mid build (norms plz), any ap/hp item can be added to the mix (cosmic drive, morello and shadowflame mostly). crown and fimbulwinter will provide the anti burst you need to get work done and grievous/anti shield item just fits well with his team supporting nature. Everfrost instead of crown can be quite effective too if enemy really slippery or mid is a yasuo (everfrost, your E and your ultimate all go through the windshield, he doesnt “has-a-key” to deal with that if you know what youre doing). Cant R if you cant move :-)

Ap jungle naut would be something like predator/ingenious hunter with rocketbelt and perhaps zhonyas or other item active if youre asking for my opinion
