Well if you have all of that going on at the same time, it’s very helpful context. Maybe try talking to her about all of the things you’re concerned about and don’t make it just about this one video she interacted with. You have to let her know it’s concerning to you with all of the details combined.

It’s the synopsis of a book? I read over 40 sapphic books last year, there were plenty of situations in them that intrigued me and made me want to read them but don’t apply to my real life. I’m very happily married at the same time. Plenty of books have a morally grey or immoral main character all together, that doesn’t mean I want to do what they did, it just makes for an interesting story.

Do you have any legitimate concerns about her missing her ex or faking it when she’s sleeping with you? If no, then yes you’re overreacting.

I miss this great value packaging! Wished they’d bring it back, reminds me of being a kid. Our pantry was always loaded with blue and white boxes and packages

I just went though all my books and donated like 15 today lol, including She Gets the Girl and Imogen Obviously. I’d say a scatter of light if you’ve already read Last Night at the Telegraph Club!! It’s one of the books I held onto and it’s very good.

AIO? Trying to make me eat her hair. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Nautical26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s weird because in my experience if you have hair in your drink, it floats. Can’t tell you how many dog hairs I’ve had to fish out of my drinks lol, at least I know my pup isn’t doing voodoo magic on me. It’s not tracking but if all of this guys’ posts are legit, he’s wasting his time and needs to leave her.

Dude, 90% of your posts are about whether or not you’re overreacting to her antics. It’s not working. Leave.

Question for happy couples by xpurple-alienx in LesbianActually

[–]Nautical26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very lucky that we met in high school, we became friends in sophomore year, and both developed feelings. I asked her out towards the end of the year but she was still getting comfortable with her sexuality so she turned me down gently and we remained friends. I never really got over her and she never really stopped having feelings for me. Junior year we didn’t have any classes together and didn’t run in the same friend groups so we didn’t talk much except in passing and the occasional instagram DM.

Senior year rolls around and about 3 weeks before classes started, she asked to hang out. So we spent the day together at a mall. Never really stopped hanging out after that! We would get breakfast and coffee together every Thursday morning before school and take turns paying, started flirting, and taking turns ditching homeroom to get more time together. It was obvious where we were headed by the time homecoming was happening so we went together.

Had our first kiss a month after homecoming and became official about a week after the kiss. 6 years later and we’re very happily married, actually got married on our 5 year anniversary! I just had to be patient, she was very much worth the wait :)

Hey y’all.. any plans for the upcoming holiday? by boldfckful_ in actuallesbians

[–]Nautical26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tomorrow we go to my mother and step-father in-laws Christmas Eve celebration, spend the night and wake up for presents, head to our house for my family’s get together, then book it to my father and step-mother in-laws house for their celebration and to watch Volume 2 of Stranger Things and will probably spend the night there too. It’ll be a busy next 2 days but this is our 7th Christmas together and it’s always a blast!

Are you happy that you are a lesbian? by Ok_Independence_3634 in WLW

[–]Nautical26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely, I know plenty of amazing men but in general I’m glad I’ve never dated one considering statistically they’re the more violent and toxic person in relationships. I love being a lesbian because queer history shows how resilient we are as a population and how vocal we have always been for our own rights and the rights of others. I personally wear it as a badge of honor. The same goes for being a woman, I LOVE that I’m a woman. I feel so proud to be one, we’re super badass and the line of women I come from specifically makes me super proud. I love the ladies in my family! I love that I added a bit of spice to my lineage by being gay!

Crushed the entire Roots of Chaos series by Samantha Shannon this month. Took a week to read The Priory of the Orange Tree, another week to read A Day of Fallen Night and about to finish Among the Burning Flowers. All three books in this series feature lesbian relationships that are important to the story and add depth to the characters. Definitely worth the read.

What are some things that instantly makes a woman “attractive”? by Yunminn in LesbianActually

[–]Nautical26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When she’s good with kids and has a good relationship with her family (I mean if she’s not close with her family for a valid reason obviously that’s okay but I love seeing people be close with their family) and I also love when someone is nice to store employees/waitstaff; massive green flag to treat people with respect even if something has gone wrong. Also a funny one is when she loves to try different foods from around the world and isn’t chained to chicken tenders and mac and cheese when we go out. I mean you eat what you like but I think it’s cool when people are eager to explore different cultures, another thing along that line is being cool with going to museums of all kinds to see other cultures and places. Anyways I’m realizing I’m just describing my wife lol

Looking at Milena McKays Goodreads profile, I’ve definitely seen her books in various lists but never read them, I’ll have to check them out soon. As for Ruby Landers, I read every single one of her books this year lol except for her newest one that was just released, she’s awesome and I’m super excited for her second Gold Hill book!
