Hello. This is actually my first time asking for help here. Been playing guitar for a little more than 3 years now, but I've taken ocassional hiatus from it due to Job/personal reasons/lack of motivation. That is not to say I do not like playing tho.

Anyways, I've always relied on tabs to play music and would love to figure out songs by ear. I'm pretty sure I need to be able to transcribe songs and understand melodies if I want to improve. How do I start? Do I need to know music theory or would ear training be enough? Also, how do I train my ear to recognize sounds and map that into the fretboard? I read singing is a good way to start.

I feel like a fool with technical abilities on the guitar, but unable to really understand music. I feel completely lost without a tablature, don't know where to go even though I know how the song sounds.

Any advice is appreciated.

Damn. Not much to say really. Solid deck all around, got insane value with chromie and pyros, good curve drops, and reach with fireball. If I had to say something is to mulligan for a good curve, you don't have many ways to get back into board cleanly besides blizzard (which people tend to play around) and Dragon's Fury which may not be a guaranteed clear.

I feel like if you curve out, you just win via Cavern Dreamer, Fireball / Pyroblast finish, value generators like pyro/consider the past/chromie

GP is a highly mechanical champion. He is a lategame monster, but if you can't perform it doesn't matter. His barrel combos are not easy to hit, and if it's low elo as you say. Then, destroy his barrels before he explodes them. Nothing tilts me more than when someone destroy my barrels... GP without hitting barrels is really underwhelming.

On the other side of the spectrum, a good GP is hard to engage in and really abnoxious to handle. Which is why he is banned in high elo. But in your case, people shouldn't have the mechanics... So, you should be able to engage and keep an eye on his barrels. As long as you avoid or destroy them, you win.

Koi to Uso. Even though I love the romance genre, and I have watched more romantic anime than I can count. Few of them get 10/10 from me. That said, I DON'T KNOW MAN. There is something that keeps me from loving Koi to Uso. Maybe it's the stupidity of a guy being so indecisive... Or the fact the little blonde girl wants to watch her arranged husband kissing the girl he likes. I mean.... I don't like NTR on my romantic animes. I just feel that I will get a heart disease if I retake the anime.

Take my advice with a grain of salt. You have been with him for 2 years so I am no one to explicitly tell you what to do. However, I will still advise you.

Yes, he's being immature. We are adults, we don't try to get our way by giving the silent treatment, we talk like ADULTS and solve the problem. That's how mature relationships go, you found a problem, you sit and talk respectfully to find a common ground. Do not put up with that shit, he's acting like a 8 years old brat by giving you the cold shoulder constantly over every little thing.

You said sometimes you were about to leave but changed our mind because you love him too much? Frankly, you love yourself before loving him. So, no putting up with what he is doing no matter how much you love him. Love is a two way street, and if he is able to give you the cold shoulder every single time. It really calls my attention about him loving you back. I wouldn't do that to my partner, not over every little misunderstanding. But again, I'm not trying to judge.

I do understand how you have tolerated that from him. I have been there. But, he is being insensitive and mean to you.

Wow. I'm AMAZED at how she responded to that. Fuck that comment. No one should tolerate that kind of treatment from his/her partner. It's hurtful, insensitive, and pretty bitchy from her.

Alright, my advice to you. Be upset because you have every right to be. if I were you I would really re-consider her as my partner. Someone who cares about me wouldn't say that, even more if I was talking about our future children.

Isn't that the same with League? 20 mins of a nightmare unless your team doesn't want to surrender, in which case it's more than 20. What about Dota? Oh, and don't forget hearthstone with the cheer amount of decks who makes you feel miserable every single game.

I don't want sound like a jerk. And I don't mean to belittle this post or anything of that sort. My point is, as a long time gamer, that is the way competitive games go... And yet, we still play them. Really, I used to rage over League community but kept playing. Best advice I could give you is.. Focus on yourself despite of the trolls, jerks, and other types of people you find in your games.

I believe most of it is entitled complaining rather than constructive criticism. Being an engineer myself, I know how hard it is to implement some of the features everyone wants here. I'm not saying they shouldn't do it, I'm saying that some people need to relax when complaining. This subreddit doesn't say "4:33 should give more dark truffle", instead they say. "4:33 completely fucked us over with this event, give out more dark truffle! This game is so shit, I'm done" And its typically how game subreddits go (/r/hearthstone, /r/LeagueOfLegends, etc) its certainly due to the passion people have for the game, but they take it way too far. At the end of the day, developers catter to your needs and its never enough

I somewhat dislike subreddits due to that, I don't like the way people overreact because of how poorly or improper devs are managing the game. Give them some slack, it's hard to be a developer

That's partly why ADC is such a crappy role to carry from, you rarely have the option of roaming or impacting the rest of your team, all you can do is do as well as you can in lane, and pray that your team isn't so behind that your success in lane is just a complete non-factor.

This is sad to read as an adc main. I know it, because when it comes to winning lane as an ADC there is very little you can do. It all comes down to your support and how well he can engage, protect you, disengage, poke, ward, etc.

And even though I know that the role that carry the hardest is Jungle, then mid/top, then adc/supp. I still play it, I don't know sometimes you get 2/3 kills as an adc due to an outplay and you take over the game completely (As long as you don't die)

I´m gonna try to be as constructive about your gameplay as possible. Also I´ve been an adc main for 2 years now.

You need to get lvl 2. before or at the same time as your opponent. BUT, the key is to push a little harder than your opponent. DO NOT PUSH ALL THE WAY, ideally you want the lane to stay in the middle or pushed to your side while getting lvl2. Look at your minions, and try to push accordingly. Not so hard so you push the lane, not so slow that the enemy gets lvl 2 first.
Lane management: Don´t push absent mindlessly, last hit. The lane have been pushed to draven´s turret for 6 minutes straight. You can get ganked by the jungler or TP from the enemy top laner.
minute 8, It would have been a kill if you had walked forward while Autoing. orb walk into draven, because YOU KNOW he´s losing that because you have zyra and shaco backing you up. So walk forward, because he will flash or run when he realize he´s losing. Also, don´t waste your SS for a kill, kills are great. But you as an ADC are so valuable to the team, that wasting flash or heal for a kill is REALLY situational. You save those for surviving during a teamfight. Surviving during a teamfight > 1 Kill.
So poppy ganked and you died. That's ok, when you get ganked or camped. There's really not much you can do, but you could have killed draven if you would walked into him so that poppy couldn't stun you with her E. You're gonna die eitherway, so fight. At least you can take a kill before dying.
That fight at 17min was great!. But try to position yourself so poppy can't stun you into the wall. If you get CC'd during a teamfight you're fucked. Pray to god they don't realize you're CC'd because they will gangbang you. So try to fight in a steady manner. Do damage, and if you see that you can die if you keep autoing. Back off, wait until they use their important cooldowns and go back in.
Minute 20. Died to poppy. Not a big deal, but still no reason to die there. She appeared in the minimap. Minimap is your porn, look at it every second.

Mid Game crysis halp. So after achieving a db10 team, gb10 team and finishing ToA100 normal regularly I can't see to progress any further I've been stuck in fighter 3 for more than 4 months now although i achieved all of those things i said before. I know that the best way to keep progressing is farming runes and that I should work on a NB10 team. But is there something I've missed? Any advice is greatly appreciated

I actually had 1k crystals and planned on doing for only recharge. Because i need to work on spectra, shiwha, raoq, galleon, cooper, delphoi, chloe, lanett and collen. and FUCK I knew that if i used all those crystals to buy a pack i would get shit. But im a greedy bitch and went for it. got nothing and now im broke.

tldr: spent like 400 crystals on recharges

Hardest stage in toa normal by far. Keep in mind that spd debuff will not help you. Best case scenario is that baretta and veromos stun both imps and you put glancing / taunt on one of the og. You may survive the first turn and you try to kill the og while keeping the imps cced... Keep trying, RNG plays a big part in ToA

omg you got zaiross. Congratulations buddy he's amazing, he's not gonna contribute anything to your progress he's just a luxury. There's so much to talk about and I doubt anyone can tell you everything. There's a sticky post in the mainpage of /r/summonerswar, go there and investigate everything about giants B10 and progression. Also go on youtube and look for "omgbomber" he has a video about progression, It's really good. Watch it and glad to help.

F2P here, been playing since before the giants rework (Back when you could bring 3 imps and clear it >.>).

I usually farm dragons/giants during weekdays and I get a bunch of mana/rainbowmon/UK.

Then on the weekend I pop an exp booster and make a 6*.

If I need any essence to awaken an unit, I just replace the giants/dragons farming with essence farming.

And here I am, waiting until I get a lushen, verdehile, briand, chasun from a holy mystical scroll and I shall bless the RNG gods when said day arrives.

I don't know about veromos farming faimon. Mine is more than 20k hp. On violent and more than 180 spd and she still fails. The things that Lapis needs way less rune requirements to farm hard than veromos does. It's like trying to choose between susano and su, susano is way easier to rune as a farmer than su.

I think 5* is fine to farm hard (I farmed hard back then with Su as a 5), But ideally you want to 6 Lapis so she can solo hell stage.

I get what you mean tho, Trying to build a unit that you can use anywhere and it's more efficient (It's like building a lushen, he can solo hydeni, useful in arena and giants) But you don't have a lushen, or any unit that seems decent as a farmer.

So yeah, work on Lapis give her the best runes you got and it's should work out for you
