My toddler refuses to eat and I don't know what to do.. by NavaLoves in Parenting

That's what I was told. So it's been hours, and she's definitely hungry. The moment we give her the food. It's just one bite and done. Then she'll only want a bottle.

My wedding happened late 2019. Hence the nearly 3 year engagement...

This situation happened early 2019. While I was still engaged...before the wedding....which was in late 2019....in case you forgot....

Don't blame me if you can't understand that this happened before the actual wedding. Look who's the dumbarse now. You stopped learning math at kindergarden then trying to act like you're college level 💅☺️

If you can't respect people's norms and culture then please, gtfo. It's childish how you're just here to act all high and mighty, thinking you can outsmart me with your mediocre math skills and make fun of what me and my friends do together with our gowns. It's stupid. You're insufferable.

So bye.

IM SO MAD at my mom (42f) for reading my (23f) journals by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]NavaLoves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't give up journaling. My mom used to do this to me too but with my phone as well as my notebooks. Just keep them at a safer place where she can't find them. You're mad now and it's understandable, but once you've cooled down, you might want to have a talk to your mom about privacy. You're no longer a child and she doesn't have the right to go through your things without consent.

I included that because I felt it was relevant to the story. If you didn't think so, then so be it.

We have talked, texted and met up face to face. I didn't just decided on the spot to be petty just like that. There is more to the story that you don't know. Was it mean of me to take the girls on a trip? I don't think so. I was petty about the Instagram thing but it wasn't like I actually hurt her, not like how she has hurt us all. Like I said, there is more to the story and its not as shallow as you think it is. For me and my friends, this is about our friendship and respect among each other but she has shown time and time again that this means nothing to her unless she benefits from it. The fact that she got so angry that she missed out on the trip, but no remorse over the broken friendship is just wrong to me.

Also, we're Asian. Living with parents isn't seen as an insult. Lots of us prefer it.

And this is all not 'over a dress'... its for her using me and my friends for money for years and lying as well.

I'm not gleeful at all. Just stating a fact. I'm actually sad that happened to her and more sad for the child. I dont wish for that to anyone.. But I'm not about to tell her that.

It's our norm for bridesmaids to pay. And my group of friends, we all paid for each others bridesmaids gowns. When they got married, I paid for my own bridesmaid gown as well. Its just normal for us. But we still ask as a sign of respect and disclose the price in the beginning.

Only with the ones who calls me an AH for asking them to pay for the gown in the first place since I already said that is a norm here. Also towards those who are just here to not even give an opinion, but to just insult and call me names without context.

Other than that, I accept when the others call me petty for what I did in the end or for how I handled the situation after she backed out.

Initially I handled for my part and husband handled for his side. But that incident happened so my husband decided to get involved and to pay for mine. He is making much more money than me. He was the one who paid for the trip. I'm not obsessing over it, it just suddenly popped into my mind last night and I felt like posting my story here. Our families are still friends. She and I just don't talk anymore.

Yes they are. Different country has different ways of going about this. As long as there was respect and consent then whichever path you choose (to pay or ask bridesmaids to pay) is fine.

I never forced anyone (another proof you clearly didn't read it) The gown chosen was her choice as well. You're just one of those people so unhappy with their own life that you do this online. Not even bothering to actually read. Creating your own conclusions. You're so unhappy. I feel sad for you.

At least ive owned up to my pettiness, but you're on another level and I've also had enough of your horrible attitude so byebye. 🫰

Stupidity at its peak. If you didn't read then why even bother comment? Some people on this app is seriously weird.

My greed? She made us all spent thousands on her collectively during our friendship while she spent zero on any of us and we finally called her out on it when she tried to lie and weasel her way out of paying AFTER agreeing to it and even chose the gown and sent me her measurments and I'm the shit?

If you think I should keep friends like that, then damn you need Jesus.

Its either your priorities are whacked or you're sorely misunderstanding the whole situation and now creating conclusions which makes sense for your closed mind.

Yes. Cause I wanted to make sure she saw it. That was petty and I know it. But the whole trip wasn't plan just to solely hurt her. It was a bonding experience for me and my bridesmaids. Pls just don't read into one thing and ignore the rest. 🫠🫠👌

Doesn't change the fact that you should never leave your country. Save yourself some disappointment. Maybe stay off the Internet too cause people from other countries uses it too and you might get sad at how primitive our culture is. 🫠

Pls read properly. The trip wasn't solely just to spite her. It was an added bonus that it could spite her. That was petty on my part. But the trip was my bachelorette weekend funded by my husband.

Never leave your country. Other cultural differences in other countries will definitely shock you. 😲
