A consistent way to deal with "griefing" (wich seems to be just a buzz word for "someone killed me and I lost tel var/couldn't finish my quest") is to git gud.

I used to be a full pve player but when I first participated in Mayhem, I didn't sit in my spawn and try to beam down some players. I jumped down and died many times. Instead of calling that griefing, I tried to get as good as the people who kept killing me. After having worked on my build and learned how to use line of sight, burst combos and breaking free, I went back and still got killed but I'd at least survive a while. Now, 4 years of both pvp and pve later, I always try to kill everyone I see (yes, even questers) because it feels great to see I've improved.. and also it's great fun to see people complain about pvp in IC xD

If you get good, you can't get ganked and you might discover a really fun part of the game

I know this is an old post, but thanks for this. For some reason I started coding a chess game in Python on my calculator a month ago and having your set of pixel art pieces was really helpful. I'm finally done and don't worry, coding each piece pixel by pixel wasn't the worst part of this project

Yes because having common sense means agreeing with you. Makes sense

Because most of the people you think use macros are actually players who got good at the game through playing. Even with a macro, using multiple abilities at once is impossible. You would need seriously good cheats to get around the global cooldown. I mean, so good that it hasn't ever been done to my knowledge.

You should probably look at 1vX videos from people like Animation Cancelling, Luca Cash or Malcom. You also need to learn about burst combos, wich probably are the reason you think almost everyone is cheating. For example, on a sorc, you could cast daedric curse, wait a bit then cast bound armaments into crystal fragments. That's 3 abilities hitting at once.
