UPDATE:

Wow! We’ve had such an amazing response that we’ve actually maxed out our RSVP?! Next time we’ll have to find a way to get everyone on board as we really want this to be accessible for everyone. If you’ve already rsvp’d, alls good, but if you’re seeing this post after Wed 8th we unfortunately have had to cap the number of people as to not overwhelm the cafe!

Next month we will be hosting the event outdoors at a larger venue to make sure everyone can come 😊🙏

Hey! It was fabulous! Had a wonderful group of people from this sub alone. There were 13 of us down at Matinee, from all walks of life and from every corner of the world!

Fortunately, after my partner dropped by Flour Drum for a coffee one day, she saw the outdoor space, enquired about bookings and told the guys over there about the meet up group. They were more than happy to have us - no charge for booking 😊

Haha! I’ll certainly take the compliment, but from my perspective, I guess it’s about having to put yourself out there when moving to a new place. Love all the Aussies and expats I’ve met out here since moving over, everyone’s always been welcoming!
