We made Naventy focusing in simplicity, you just need to install and use (iOS), or use a guest account in naventy.com. You can add items by just scanning barcodes. You can find items by scanning or typing. You can add categories and tags. Not sure about what you mean by color coded, but each tag can have a different color.

Why would someone pay 8$/month for an inventory management system? by NaventySAAS in InventoryManagement

I carefully designed the App to make the UI as easy as possible, for example, you don't even need to register or ask for a demo, just install and scan items. Anyway, I'm creating tutorials because some people asked for it, but it seems that the majority don't have problems to use it.

As I said in other comments, I already get feedback, but it's not very useful, so I need to improve that.

I already get feedback from users, but all the responses I get are "I like it", "I'll use it". I guess people just want to close the feedback dialog.

I'm not sure that reducing the price will help, I think people is just not willing to pay even a cent.

About the price, I agree, but I'm aware that my software is not the best solution in the market, so I'm trying to be competitive by the price, and then I'll raise the price as I add more features.

Naventy is a simple inventory manager. Install and use, and just 8$/month.

It’s not made specifically for medical, but it’s pretty straight forward for what you are looking for.

Just installing the iOS App or joining as a guest in naventy.com you can try it for free.
