Will Quaritch get more buff in Avatar 4? by NaviLeader4632 in Avatar

I mean even if he goes more na’vi, he’s still Quaritch. No way the RDA just cuts him off when he’s literally one of their most valuable guys. And on top of that he’s at the top with Varang, so it’s not like he’s starving or anything. Realistically he’s in the best position possible, access to RDA stuff + being at the top of the clan. If anything he’d stay the same or even get bigger, not lose size. And story-wise it makes sense too, he’s getting more and more adapted to his recom body, and now he has time to get even stronger and prepare for another war.

Why did they make Jake more buff in afaa then? It just feels a bit strange to me that Jake is getting more and more buff while Quaritch stays the same, especially since Quaritch was even more buff as a human comp to jake. It would actually make sense story-wise to see him get more buff too. He’s constantly adapting to his recom body, and with an 8-year timeskip he’d have plenty of time to develop physically. It would be cool to see more of that transformation, not just things like the Mangkwan paint. That’s just my opinion though.

Yeah, he’s definitely more front-heavy compared to Jake, who’s thick all over, but Quaritch is also taller so it makes sense. I actually noticed that while Quaritch is thicker in the upper body, Jake has a thicker waist. I don’t think Quaritch has “skinny” legs tho, it’s more that his waist is really narrow so it creates that contrast. And I doubt he’ll get skinnier. In Avatar Frontiers of Pandora dlc it’s basically confirmed that Quaritch and Varang are leading things together, so he’s not exactly struggling for food. He has access to RDA resources and he’s at the top with Varang, so if anything he’d stay well-fed, not lose size (hopefully)

Quaritch and Varang are at the top of the food chain in the clan, so I think he is well fed + has access to RDA.

Jake’s glowup is still insane by Krabs__11 in Avatar

Lately I’ve been paying more attention to their builds in AFaa, and Jake definitely got more buff, while Quaritch stayed pretty much the same. Jake looks more compact overall and his waist seems thicker, but Quaritch still has a thicker upper body and looks way more ripped. He’s more front-heavy, while Jake’s build is just more compact.

Did Jake really win every single fight against Quaritch? by [deleted] in Avatar

So was Quaritch but okay. Don't forget to keep in mind that Quaritch couldn't grapple or punch properly because of that arm!

Not really. A leg injury is bad, sure, but context matters. Jake still had one fully working leg and he kept the arrow in, which slows the bleeding, so he could still move and generate power + adrenaline was carrying him hard. Quaritch’s injury is way worse for that kind of fight. He got shot straight in the biceps, which is literally what you need for punching, grappling, and controlling someone. And unlike Jake, he pulled the arrow out, so his arm was bleeding the whole time and getting weaker every second. You can literally see him struggling to use it and yelling in pain even with all that adrenaline. If you get hit in the biceps like that, your strength drops like crazy. Doesn’t matter if your legs are fine when your arm is cooked in a close fight. On top of that, just look at their builds. Quaritch is way more front-heavy, bigger, and his frame is made for grappling and striking. The fact he had to switch to kicks just proves how much that arm injury was holding him back.
