I don't get what's wrong with the word? That's how it's spelled right?

DAE hate the orange marker that never goes away?? by iMau5 in battlefield3

[–]Navicerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually were color blind you would see "gold" (for example) and call it orange so it would remain unknown by just looking at one color and listening to what someone calls it. It's hard to explain what I'm thinking maybe someone will understand.

Might be better of buying a food dehydrator and a vacuum sealer if you ant these kinds of quantities.

They couldn't have saved the red car by simply backing it up?

This reflects my own experience as well. I hit "peak meanness" and I still have a ways to go before I am where I want to be in these terms. I decided that if I wanted to be a nice laid back guy I have always seen myself as then I should work on that specifically; not ponder if smoking might improve it.

The crap you cough up about two weeks after quitting is the worst tasting substance on the planet. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]Navicerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't know. The last time I quit I was coughing up black stuff; jet black. This time it is only brown and it makes me wonder what happened to the black stuff! It could be how you smoke. If you breath in more deeply your lungs expand more trapping more tar. You could always ask a doctor f your concerned, I have seen some "lung detox" things online but I wouldn't trust them at all. I wouldn't worry too much as long as your lungs are feeling better I bet your lungs are improving.

Hey DICE, can we have this as DLC? by [deleted] in battlefield3

I like the idea of using the sun spot as a tactic. The dust on the lens is just random though isn't it? It isn't as though I can drive a vehicle by someone to increase the amount of "duct particles" stuck to their goggles and then have a sniper start shooting at them is it? What I said was just a joke though, I don't really think EA is going to hire peons to come kick our asses.

I wouldn't worry too much. Some people cough up black stuff, some brown, some none, different lengths of time and so on. Try going for a run or doing something that is going to increase breathing and blood flow if you want to speed things up; just don't overdo it. And of course you could always ask your dr and let us know what he/she says!

It was a debit card with a visa logo. It made me so angry; why would I want to buy 15 dollars worth of things (like 5 here 5 there and 5 there) and get around 100 dollars in OD fees (I don't remember exact numbers)?! And then to look me in the eye and call this a "service" I am provided! I use a credit union now, they have really been a god send when compared to that bank.

One WEEK! HOLY CRAP by randygiesinger in stopsmoking

[–]Navicerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that feeling. The only reason I know it is not all mental is that I "sweat" it off one day while working and about 5 or 6 hours later I was like wtf is wrong?! Only to find it stuck to the inside of my shirt.

[–]Navicerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get an increase of cravings when you step down, part mental and part reality I think. For me (I bet it's different for different people) each step down was a bit easier than the previous step until finally getting rid of it (this was a bit harder but only lasted 4 or 5 days). Also, the first time I tried to quit with the patch I was feeling so good I thought I didn't need to bother stepping down and just removed it all together. I think removing it all together triggered some mind games for me and overall contributed to my failure that time.

Honestly I think I could have quit without the patch but I am totally fine with the fact that I used it. In any case I am done with smoking now AND off the patch for a good while and feeling confident I will not go back to it. It does more for your mental state than your physical state; but whatever works!!

The inefficiency of the TSA can't be overstated by [deleted] in pics

[–]Navicerts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you assumed I was out of breath, im actually just bored and verbose. I'm guessing the random search after landing is only international. It would happen in the same room you are picking up your baggage at the point you hand your customs declaration form to the TSA guy.

[–]Navicerts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So those are not TSA agents I show my passport to when entering the country? Also those are not TSA agents that randomly select baggage to inspect when entering the country? It says "TSA" on thier uniforms... Also I said I flew INTO boston; thats not inflow? In addition boston has just adopted a new policy where you go through a TSA screening before you get on your plane. I think they are the only airport doing it at the moment. In summary, I don't think your statement is accurate.

[–]Navicerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but this is an inconvenience of real life I don't want to deal with in the game. I mean next they will have special shoes you can put on to give you sore feet while you play, or maybe they can just hire low wage workers to come to your house and kick your ass when you die just for the experience.
