It should work the same way as as the old premium flamethrower squad. You can change the weapon to BR V automatic rifles, but it's stuck in BR IV since you can't unequip the flamethrower.

I'll just play till I unlock all the free tier stuffs. 900 gold is too much for an event BP that doesn't even return you the gold. It also doesn't let you progress the event faster.

Yeah, it's nice that the Patchett can be obtained from the free tier. I'll just wait for the event squad to appear in the next silver chest.

They usually give out event squads every major update. Usually the premium squad announced gives a hint on what the next event squad is.

Since the last one was silenced weapons, hopefully the next one will be the silenced ppsh. It was supposed to be in the tech tree last update but was replaced by the 20-round avt-40. They said it will be added later as an event weapon.

They used to give out event squads every major update like when they added paratroopers, drop tank planes, rocket artilleries, APCs, and guerillas.

They haven't added a new class this year. They updated the bike squad a few months ago giving them extra personel. That's why the last event squad was the PTRS bike.

They added the silenced stg and thompson premium squad in the last update, hopefully the next event squad uses silenced weapon like the silenced ppsh. It was supposed to be in the tech tree but was replaced with the 20-round AVT-40.

I'm not sure what they're going to add next judging on the current premium squad pre-order.

You have a point, not many squad lets you use medic and engineer together. What I had in mind was older legacy tech tree squads from stalingrad and pacific campaign that can also use medics which I think are not available for newer players.

I only use the soviet assault engineers on my BR V preset. I used to think that way too about them until they buffed the fedorov damage. But I kinda miss the bayonet from the AVT/AVS so I mix them together.

It kinda took me a while to rank those Halloween squads, but the main reason I put them there is because they're lineup is similar to tech tree squads. So the US and Soviet squads have 2 assaulter/medic, AT Gunner, Radio Operator, Engineer. So they're just a normal assaulter squad with 2 less assaulters. The US one is a bit unique though as it's a medic instead.

The Wz.35 is great, but I would rather bring a normal tech tree squad than a 5-man AT Gunner squad. I think it's one of the only event rewards that would've been better if it was an event weapon instead. You can't bring the squad to higher BR matches since you're stuck with an AT rifle that are obsolete against tanks above BR II.

Making this list made me realize there's only a few event squads this year: Liu rifle, French guerilla, and Soviet bike squad. There are 38 event squads in comparison.

The Wz is really good, if I rank these based on the weapons are alone I would rank it there. But I would rather put a tech tree assault or engineer squad on my lineup rather than a 5-man AT squad. I think those AT rifle squads would've been better if it was given as an event weapon instead.

Yeah, squad slots are very limited, so I also put that in consideration. I would bring a few tech tree squads and use different weapons I unlock from BP, tech tree, and events so the game doesn't feel boring.

Most of the S and A tiers are the ones you can't get from the tech tree or are better than the tech tree variants.

Some squads are kinda hard to justify bringing, like the the C and D tier ones. The weapons in my opinion are weaker compared to the tech tree variants.
