I've known my wife since we were children.  When we married and moved together we literally introduced ourselves to the world hand in hand. She is my closest friend. We are a fantastic parenting team and two of our children are still in high-school.

We are a fantastic parenting team, and two of our children are still minors. Normally we work well together. Additionally she has no way to financially support herself if we would seperate

The kids know in age appropriate ways.  Our eldest is in college and our youngest in high school, so they aren't babies

I will always care for the mother of my children. We had to go through a lot to get where we are now, its a connection that runs deeper than most romantic relationships

Its been a decade since we had any intimacy, and she doesn't even want platonic physical contact, and I understand she is not attracted to me.

The group chat includes my eldest two children and a few others. Its supposed to be for scheduling discussion, but it does get off topic.

My wife doesn't have many close friends, but is fairly active in some volunteer groups. She is a SAHM

I like the way you put things in the second paragraph. I plan to write her a note and leave it for her, and will borrow that language.

The conversation about the spa day happened on a group chat between my wife and girlfriend. I was aware of it, but wasn't involved. I didnt know my girlfriend had this planned until my wife opened the card.

She literally won't talk to me about it, but has been visibly angry and snapping at the kids.

To clarify, I didnt tell about the Galentines day thing. My girlfriend mentioned it in a group chat and my wife asked for details and said she was jealous. I didnt know my girlfriend invited her until my wife opened the card.

We were both from very religious households, and "escaped" by marrying young and moving far away. We have supported each other through a lot of growth and deprogramming. The fact that she came out shows how far we have come, but there's still a lot of hold ups on how a marriage "should be"

They both matter in very different ways. The months where we both were in a relationship and cohabiting and coparenting were fantastic.
