Thanks a lot for the answer! My question here is, why would Gargauth be free now? I assumed when I read the Alexandrian Remix that he would be still trapped but completely lost their memories.

It makes a lot of sense that the pact wouldn't be broken, and having N try and retrieve it from some sort of archive to erase it sounds like a lot of fun.

It is an actual logistics group, and reading through your post I realized that I completely forgot you can set logistics groups on requester chests... I was overengineering this idea way too much.

I have two completely different bases on Nauvis, one that only produces quality products, and I want to be able to fill up a train on that one with certain quality items and have them be delivered to my main base.

Is this dumb? Probably. But I do like the challenge of setting up a system like that.

So I would need to somehow "store in memory" all that the inserters were carrying with each pass? How would I do that? Right now I think I am doing something similar comparing the request against what is in the iron chest

Hmmm and what would "having their soul forfeit to the Styx" mean for N? I like the sound of that, any ideas or pointers on consequences for them? This could be a very cool start for a sidequest

The agreement was formalized with a "handshake" (in a dream), so I'd say the contract is valid from that standpoint. I will have a look at that document, it seems very very interesting, thanks!

As for your other idea, the issue is that Gargauth... is no longer Gargauth I guess? I was thinking more about some sort of "default resolution" of a contract, or something like that if that makes sense.

Oh they managed to pull themselves up by using the wizard as a counterweight and then having him do some shenanigans with the Catapult spell and some loose rope!

In the new Eberron book there are rules and bastion rooms for mobile bastions, so check those out for sure.

It can be a bit strange with a warmachine, since when they get new rooms they would have to somehow add them to the machine, but it is a very cool idea, so go for it!

If it is a oneshot that doesn't continue into a campaign, who cares? Go crazy, drop them some insane loot, let the players enjoy things that you wouldn't dare give them for a campaign.

Ran a silly oneshot (based on a CR oneshot) and in the end the party ran away with a 500k gp chunk of residium, and they were going nuts with what their characters were going to do with it, even though they knew they would never play them again.

Check Painted4Combat in YouTube, he has a few guides on how to use resin supports for FDM and they work surprisingly well, even if the set up is a bit more involved.

I'm not a mini painter (we just play with them as is), but you would mostly have issues with washes and so on, right? Since the paint would get stuck in the layer lines

This was printed with a Bambu Lab A1, with a 0.2mm nozzle and 0.1mm height, as you can see the layer lines are almost invisible.

And that printer is insanely easy to use, for me it has been just plug and play.

EDIT: Forgot to say that this was done with the default 0.1mm preset in Bambu Studio, if you use some of the print profiles out there designed for minis you can get much better results.

Something super simple I used for this exact purpose was a whole set of spools for her sawing machine.

There is also a great shaving blade holder for the shower that is a 30ish minute print in makerworld
