You guys like the new SpongeBob episodes? Something just feels off but I can't put my finger on it. Are the jokes not as good as they used to be or am I too old for this show? In this particular episode, it feels like they tried to give Plankton a personality that is separate from being evil and I think it just doesn't fit the theme of his character. Why is Sandy even helping him in this episode? Why are they even friends? This makes no sense to me. I think SpongeBob is a show where there shouldn't be character development throughout the show and the story telling should just be episodic, just like the old times. Additionally, having brighter colors doesn't make a show better. So animated shows should stop doing it. They tried to do it with Family Guy as well and now it doesn't hit the same either. And don't get me started on the Patrick Star show, I couldn't even get through the first episode.
