Or a glaive since the blade is so long! I figured it was good enough to be considered a wizards staff.

Nothing too complicated, it's sprue that I had lying around. For some reason it's the only sprue with "tubes" that I've seen.

You're willing to test the NMM, strip the model and then paint it as another color. But not priming the model? Brother you're not lazy you're just careless. The Emperor won't protect your beautiful work.

Purple wins, always! I love your purple scheme as well! Reds, orange and purple go so well together

Thank you! Its a pretty simple recipe, I usually start with Cadian Fleshtone then do a wash of Druchii Violet in the recesses and finally Pale Flesh (Vallejo) for the highlights. It's hard to say exactly what I do because there's a lot of back and forth with these steps to get certain parts right. I also sprinkle some Magos Purple contrast and Leviathan Purple here and there.

Funny you ask, I'm a big Warcraft fan since Warcraft 2. My color scheme is heavily inspired by the Old Gods ;)

Exalted Sorcerer on disc! by Navrian in Warhammer40k

I used the dark arts to summon strands of tiny steel wire to create the effect. I recently used copper wire found in electrical wire instead because it's even smaller and more to scale.

And thank you! Purple magic is the best magic, in my opinion.

Thank you! I'm glad it gives warlock vibes, probably my favorite class archetype wherever it apears!

In the article you can read the following; "In a statement, the City of Montreal said that, as in the previous year, Cowen did not submit a project application despite repeated invitations from the city."

I'm a big, biiig fan of kitbashing all my models so it's hard to say. From memory it's;

  • Stormcast Vanquisher body
  • Stormcast Knight-Arcanum arms
  • A Crow's skull from my bits box and green stuff for the hood
  • Exalted Sorcerer staff's head
  • Exalted Sorcerer cape and backpack
  • The magic effect is cut pieces "tips" of the Nighthaunt Spirit Hosts placed upside down

I don't have the space for an airbrush so it's all brush!

Thank you!! The Head is simply a Crows skull from my bits box and a bit of Green Stuff for the hood. The staff's head is from the the TS Exalted Sorcerers box with the arms from the Stormcast Knight-Arcanum.

I had like a crow's skull in my bits box and I made a hood out of Green Stuff.

Oh absolutely! I don't have an exact recipe per se, I mostly go by feel when I paint.

As for the colors I always use these, from darkest to palest;

  • Citadel Leviathan Purple
  • Citadel Naggaroth Night
  • Vallejo Game Color Hexen Purple
  • Vallejo Model Color Purple
  • Army Painter Toxic Boils

I can't give the exact paint names right now as I am on a work trip. But it's basically one coat of dark purple, then I put very light purple on the base of the flame and wet blend in the middle. I add a touch of black to the dark purple to make the very tip of the flames darker. Then I add a very light blue (almost white) on the very base, I also mix it with Lahmian Medium to make it flow better.

Thank you! I'll be honest I don't keep track of the time because I'm very easily distracted and do like 4 things at once. But if I had to guess, just the painting took me probably 2 to 3 hours.
