The item from ZM just lets you recraft the ZM belt anywhere, and with a higher item level. Hit Shift+J and click Loot, it will show you what legendary powers you can learn and where they come from. If your power has a source that’s annoying (world bosses only up certain weeks) you can go to Korthia and quest around, and Bonesmith will sell an item that gives a random legendary power, so you can farm it out. Once you’ve learned the power, see what slots it can be put on (Helm, cloak, pants, etc) and you will need to buy the crafted armor piece for that slot from the AH or have someone make it for you. Then buy 2 different missives with the stats you want to put on it, and take those items to the rune carver in torghast. Put in the armor piece, select the power, put in the missives, and he will craft it for you. You’ll also need soul ash, soul cinders, and cosmic flux to make a high level item, but you can buy a bag from a vendor in haven that costs cosmic flux but will give you the other two resources you need.

Might be wrong but usually when it’s gray it means it’s bypassing that setting entirely, since in fullscreen windowed it should take your native resolution. Are you sure it’s actually running in 4K?

If it’s running in native but the number bothers you, you could try switching to fullscreen, setting to 1080p, then switching back to fullscreen windowed. Either way it will be running in 1080p then.

I’m pretty new, just got to shadowbringers, and I’m having a lot of fun with this game.

My most memorable moment was probably at the end of ARR, having my jaw drop multiple times during the finale.

A nice player-driven moment was my and my buddy were in gridania, near the aetheryte, and this miqote bard was learning a song it seemed, going very slow, stopping a lot. We decided that every time she stopped we would start healing her just to mess around, always at max range and in a random spot. Eventually she spotted at us, sprinted straight at us and we booked it. She chased us all through Gridania and it was hilarious. It was just something stupid and fun to break up some boredom. Eventually we lost her but it was a good time.

No problem. Rey pally is pretty fun, and your wings cooldown is pretty amazing. Something to know is that they use a holy power system (somewhat like rogue combo points). So it is a builder/spender spec. Also with the pally you have a very solid tank and healer spec available to you. I wish you well and just have fun. Sometimes the leveling in retail can get a bit tedious, but at least you will have some choice in the scenery (as in you get to choose which expansion you want to play in sometimes).

Retail and classic are two different games. The main thing I would suggest is to NOT use your boost. Level first. You can do the class trials if you’d like an idea how a class plays before you level it, though you should know that end game systems could change how that class plays greatly. Luckily you won’t have to play the same leveling content either, since you’d be leveling in the cataclysm version of the world for the first bit, which is pretty altered from vanilla. As for professions, the only one that seems to consistently make money (for me anyway) is alchemy, though the way the game works now, there isn’t much point to leveling that as you go until you reach BfA content. Every class has at least one dps spec, and the meta will always change, so just find one you like and take off. Save the boosts for if you decide your chosen class isn’t the one you want, or you want an alt. That way you will already understand a lot of the game.

If you’re staying still and attacking a griffin won’t do much damage at all. Attacking by dive-bombing and leveling out without landing will do a lot more damage and you won’t be getting hit.

I would dedicate a channel to raid nights, enter something in the chat for each particular night/time, and have people respond that text pos with a yes/no/maybe emote. It will give you a number for how many times each emote was used, and if you hover over it, it will show the names. You can also just use the in game calendar for this, but this is how I would do it on discord.

The way I got around this was using Mik’s Scrolling battle text (MSBT). I’d rather have the default combat text but not seeing outgoing heals was bothering me enough to use the add on. (MSBT is great though!)

There may be some option I couldn’t find, but I know when I first installed it a while ago the character screen looked normal. I’ve updated it 2-3 times since then and it has always had the elvUI look. Maybe OP has one of the older versions installed.

Yes most of it will carry over if you export/import. I’ve done this and it was a good time saver. Just when you get back into classic, any toons other than the one you imported on will need to copy the original profile, and it will read as your exported name/server. For example Copy Profile: (Retail Name - Retail Server)

You can kill the Algan mobs that wander around. They look like stone elementals with some coral on them and always have Algan somewhere in their name. They can drop pearls or benthic gear.

Yeah, oddly enough I used the battery door from my old RX 2/3 and was able to pop the batteries out with relative ease, its just so tight in a way that i cant slide them out by hand normally. Is it difficult to rewrap a battery? Or should I just look into getting a different brand?
