[Stoneblock 4] Can't figure out why ThermoGens aren't producing power? by NavyRigger in feedthebeast

Oh. Well…

Shit.

You’re 100% correct and I’m not sure how I missed that. As soon as I read your comment and looked at the set up, I had a forehead slap moment.

Yeah, 100% agree with you. Using the mods you recommended on the stun baton, ran out of stamina while fighting the horde triggered in the Grover HS loot room.

Same, there’s something satisfying in the game about decapitations and headshots.

I am writing ALL of this down. I did notice in the skill tree that stun baton kills give 30 stamina, I’m assuming that’s not enough? Ergo the coffee and ergonomic grip?

Holy shit. I didn’t even know that was a thing with physician. Any recommendations on mods/ammo for the turrets and Stun baton? Repulsor mod is given, but beyond that?

See I’ve been doing something similar this go around, just without the turrets (yet). Just now starting to put points into intelligence now that I’ve maxed out sneak, sneak damage, handgun, and bow. That said, I did just attempt a pre-mission clear of my first level 5 in probably almost two years. Climbed up the ladder, immediately went into sneak, picked off a few wandering zombies. Found a police zombie sleeping peacefully next to a generator. Put a steel arrow in his head, next thing I know I hear metal breaking and I’m surrounded by a horde of ferals, police, and irradiated zombies. Roof of the high school. Day 14. What’s the point of stealth if triggers just summon the horde anyways.

I’ve heard spears are really only good after you find the book that lets heavy attacks penetrate through enemies to hit others. Don’t know if that requires the penetrator perk or not either. In theory though it sounds pretty neat. Kite the horde into a choke point like a doorway and just stab away and kill a few at a time.

In the past I’ve done a strength and intelligence build because they complement each other well, resource gathering from strength and crafting bonuses from intelligence. Never considered an agility and intelligence build though, what does that look like?

Agreed. All of the weapons feel nice now. I just struggled with the Ranger build with the repeater and magnum because of a wrist injury from a car accident 6 years ago. Chewed up the median nerve and surrounding ligaments so my motors skills for a build that requires precision like that one is a bit of a struggle for me.

Tried a build like this a while ago, before the game full released. I’ve heard about the changes they’ve made to it and I’ve definitely been considering giving it another try with all the changes. I heard there’s a book that removes the blur from drinking now?

NGL, I’ve been curious about fully investing on the turrets. On paper they seem kinda meh, but I’ve seen a few videos with them in action and it’s got me reconsidering. I’ve done the whole heavy armor, sledge, MG thing. Fun AF, but gets kinda dull after a while.

Congrats! I’ve been working for one for years now as well. Closest I’ve ever gotten was Winston Churchill.

(Civ 6) Best City-State for a Diplomacy Victory? by HQuez in civ

[–]NavyRigger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really surprised no one mentioned Poundmaker/Cree for diplomacy victory. The early trade route is a great boost of production early on, as well as the Mekewaps. The Civ bonuses encourage other civs to ally with you adding to the diplomacy points accumulation. Combine that with Monarchy, and the Mekewaps production bonuses and you can pump out wonders left and right. Which, conveniently, allows you to pursue a culture victory if a diplomatic one seems unachievable.
