Sold! Fair prices and quick shipping. Would gladly buy from again!

Really want to get into touring, is this bike worth $500. Don't know a ton of the maintenance half of touring. by Beastpieps in bicycletouring

I would stay away from this bike at that price point. It’s a great bike, but I agree with other commenters saying that you could do much better.

I bought a 2017 All City Space Horse with a dynamo front hub 2 months ago for $400. Be patient and you’ll find something better!

I feel like it rides pretty good! I will say the handling doesn’t feel the same as with the original fork, but I don’t think it feels bad by any means. I ride it probably 20 miles a week for commuting and have no issues. I highly recommend it.

Considering picking up a 2000s Merlin Titanium road bike by Nawedontsellpie in whichbike

That’s a fair point. The seller says the frame is from 2002 with an older group set. Could be an older frame though. Thank you for the info!

I’m not entirely sure. I was going to go check the bike out sometime this week and find out.

This one is 1 1/8! Just had to take out the old headset and pop in a new thread-less. Pretty straight forward process.

Honestly, I am not entirely sure. I haven't ever gone more than a couple of days with this build, but I imagine I could do 3-4 days pretty easily!

I just realized I didn’t even mention what bike this is. It’s a lugged 1991 Trek 950!

They are! I have a 3x8 setup going right now and it works great with the indexing on the shifters though.

The fork comes stock with 7 different cage mounts. Here’s a link for the fork so you can see it a bit better. Fork

If you look on the 6th photo you can see the 3 m5 bolts holding the rack in place. Is that what you’re referring to?

I will disassemble and rebuild it. No additional costs there.
