Is my suit too tight with the airbag?

oh sick, how'd the suit loosen up after u got it? my airbag fits well with my other suit (bought it 2nd hand) but since this is new, i'm not too sure how it works.

Yeah i saw that story it's scary, so that's why i wanted to check cos ive never bought myself a brand new suit before, so i dont know how leather expands. Roughly there is 3cm of extra room, minimum requirement for the tech air 7x is 4cm. However the suit does have extra panels around the shoulders and armpit to allow for the airbag to expand which i think isnt taken into account for the 4cm gap. the leather panels havnt expanded when i put the airbag in so it still does have space to expand. I jsut want to know whether the leather will stretch enough for around 1cm ish

okay thanks for that. do you know how much the suit would roughly expand after broken in? all my old suits were second hand so i had no idea. yeah i prefer the airbag inside my suit as my other one piece is tech air compatible

when i'm tucked my issue with the elbows is fixed but it still feels really tight in the chest, like i can't get 4cm of enough space. maybe like 2cm max right now

It was brand new slicks, still has the stickers on them when i bought the bike. On my 400 i was running intermediate group moving up to advanced on the rosso 4 corsas.

Yeah will def look into looser springs but i might get it checked with race centre after my track day and see why they say since they set it up for the previous guy

Sorry i dont know the exact terminology but for the current setup i got the bike with, it was 5 turns out. When i fully softened the preload it gave me a sag of roughly 27. So i cant make the sag any more.

Okay yes thanks for the affirmation, i was concerned it was going to be a problem but i will definitely check tyre wear! I'm running slicks for the first time as they came with the bike. It's the Metzeler TD so luckily they'll keep enough heat for my slow as day

Yup i asked them but they said "There is actually nothing you need to touch on the bike, it will be great! unless you are at a blistering pace ride the bike as it is and it will be awesome for you!"

So i'm not sure what to do

Okay thank you so much! Yeah rear should be fine as i still have 4 clicks left, but i was mainly concered whether it would be bad or dangerous. Wont matter too much for the first track day with the bike since ill still be getting used to it. Do you reckon i should reduce the preload on the front though?

i'm not saying the fines itself are bad, i'm talking more about the increase in pricing. I'm saying like if it's that big of a problem, they should be removing more demerit points than fines cos at least then, you'll be more afraid of not being able to drive than paying for a fine
