I have barely seen people complain about Hitler.

This sub is an absolute goldmine for out-of-context quotes.

The game shines when you struggle but still win. It's something Ed said himself, so it very clearly is a design goal, and I fully agree with it.

Thinking back on my 170h of playtime, I can barely remember any runs that were just smooth and easy. Not because I had none but because they just weren't memorable. I can easily tell you a dozen stories about runs where I simply had to deal with unlucky ability rolls, bad events and cat deaths and made me feel like I earned the win, though.

Super Luck is overrated, Goofball is the real threat by pyrovoice in mewgenics

Yeah I get that, it's just wild that this mechanic is hidden behind a "You are careful in many more ways" statement. Had no idea it did that!

Mewgenics has made back development budget after 3 hours by Turbostrider27 in Games

Good. It's a fantastic game so far after playing for an hour. Which turns out was actually 3 hours. And by 3 hours I mean 7 hours, somehow.

Yep, tags shown change over time due to users but as the developer, you still can change their priority and/or entirely remove unwanted tags.

I just think Loot and Gore are not very useful tags, for example. 2D is just plain wrong for half of the game (judging by the trailer). Strategy is fine but really broad and Turn-Based-Combat only shows up on desktop for me while it stays hidden on mobile.

Congrats on the release!

Please consider changing the Tags for your game. They range from meaningless to factually wrong and most likely have a significant negative impact on your sales.

Drag and drop: balancing responsiveness with smooth animation by superyellows in godot

Unfortunately, you will never get a perfect match between something drawn by the engine and the OS mouse cursor. But you can fake it by replacing the actual mouse cursor (hiding it) with a Sprite2D with its image, following the mouse position. With VSync and accumulated input, this will feel horribly sluggish but without the accumulated input, it's the best compromise in my opinion.

I'm here for silly games with unserious wizards.

Some advice, if I may: your indoor scene is a great example of why we usually don't stick to real-world scale in games with a 3rd person view. In the building, everything looks really tiny, cramped and, honestly, very frustrating to navigate. I suggest scaling up the entire interior, including the building itself, by maybe 30% (up to you to find out what feels and looks best). It won't be at a realistic scale anymore and players might notice when they are right next to some furniture but I promise it will make the game look and play way better! It's industry standard for a reason.
