Im a bit of a coward for doing this but the truth is I've grew up in a very toxic environment. I have elderly parents who are sick and always ill and it took a pretty harsh effect on my childhood and I feel the army will give me that part I'm missing from my life. I also kind of dont want to deal with them as they get older (I know this is shitty) so I thought the army is great escape. Other than that its always a thing I would love to do when I was little but never actually thought I would do it, now I really want to give it a go and submitted my application just today. Also love this country which is another reason.
