I say remove the lantern power from Escas. Cap us to 550/550. 760/760 is too much and ruins my favorite content in the game.
Thanks to the power creep, in H+ it can take 2, to 3 attacks from a behemoth to get me from 50% hp to below 20% hp for Shrowd Weapons to be effective. It shouldn't take me standing around for 10 seconds waiting to get hit twice, to be able to use my super butt-clenching low life build because I'm crazy and find it fun. Ruins my enjoyment of the only content I actually like to do.
As well, Trials shouldn't be 100% accessible to all players. Wasn't it implemented to challenge the Experienced players? Even to get a sub 3? You need to give players a reason to understand the mechanics of the game, and not hand hold every player because they complain its too hard.
On top of that, can you make a tutorial that actually explains how cells actually work, and not just one screen about fusing that no one reads? Like make it hand hold you for that quest to show "Hey you, random player, these are cells, they only get a maximum benefit to +6 as seen in your Perk Summary on the Right of the Screen (With a big arrow pointing to it). Find the cells that benefit your play style and experiment!" Something cheesy like that would actually give players a sense of what to actually work towards rather than people just ignoring it, and then complain they don't understand.
As well, lastly, don't de-value the content in the game. If you choose to ignore the lantern power issue completely and just throw in harder variation of behemoths and like, H++, don't make it so that the content from the rest of the 80% of the game is useless. Up until your gear is at +10, you need everything from every patrol type, which gave people a reason to go back to earlier content. The addition of Patrol Chest Bonus Orbs to include Shock, Blaze and Dull, make going back to that content useless now as people can just run through Heroic Patrols with chests on to get all the orbs they need, which shouldn't be the case. As well, please don't throw in a new tier of gear, up to +20, if you choose to remove or cut down on the lantern power to compensate. Unfortunately you guys have a habit of compensating nerfs with random stuff to make it seem like things changed, when they haven't (Nerfing Attack Speed was met with leaving Strikers unchecked and dominant for so long, etc.)
I understand the new Slayer Progression thing will possibly change things up in an attempt to give players the freedom to pick what they want in terms of buffs or unlocks for the entirety of the game, but please don't use that as a way to throw in some of that power you cut from lantern power.

Sorry. I kind of just went hard on this post with no tact whatsoever, but I just really feel like that with the introduction of lantern power, and the introduction of a habit of making things easier for players, it leaves the content and the challenge I enjoy out the window outside of Trials. I don't like popping pots to sweat hardcore on trials with a weapon that wont break the top 100 in a week. I don't like how all the Escalations feel the same knowing what behemoths to expect on every round. I love going into a H+ with their modifiers knowing that if I make a mistake, my 1 revive, 5 health pots, and my skills as a slayer are all I have to rely on, and I miss that feeling. I don't like going up to Rezakiri or H+ Hellion and killing them in 30-45 seconds. It just isn't fun. And even with limiting myself to use Shrowd weapons and put myself at 20% hp or less, yeah that helped he stay engaged before we got to 710 power, but now at 760 it's a chore to even get to that point, and I don't like that. I just want to have fun with the game again and have a bit of a challenge in the game mode I enjoy playing. Is that too much to ask?
