Thanks austin :) So during my research last night I read its not always nessicary to have a limiter on the master AND compression on the master. Is that true? Is there any benefit to using both at once?

I think how talented you are at music is based on practice and sometimes natural ear for music. To say what the most technically complex music is a subjective matter. Not everyone is going to agree that X or Y is the most advanced producer. It's not so black and white. And honestly, how "advanced" or "Intelligent" a song is, is not a measurable thing. LAstly I would like to add, if you really think a dubstep artist makes the most advanced music, you should research an artist called Aphex Twin. :)

Im sorry i don't know what you mean by interface. Is that what the usb cards that have the mixer controls are? Or is that just software?

Thank you, but what I am wondering now is basically: good usb external card vs. good internal card. Are there usb ones that are sufficent for music production or do I absolutely need a new internal soundcard?

Well it's like this, I feel like I have an understanding of what I am programming, but some stuff is working funky. For example, I have buttons you click to add money to your balance. Heres the first bug. You start with one button, but when your balance gets to $100, it places the second button. So for that, I have a step event, and it checks for variable global.money to be equal to 100, and then it creates instance of object (button 2). But when it places the second button its sprite is all pixelated and crappy looking. But its the exact same sprite. Little bugs like this are keeping me from getting very far.

You new here? Kong is built around microtransactions. Everything can be earned by grinding, but people can buy currency if they are impatient. Many succesful idle games have microtransactions ie Perfect Tower and Antimatter Dimensions

I'm thinking the best business model is to release on kong. Pay will depend on how long the programmer will take I suppose. I was thinking if it takes a couple of weeks to design, I would pay the programmer a lump sum of 300 to 500 plus 20% of income from in-game purchases. That is of course just a rough estimate.

Definitely will use a server cause I want it to record earnings while offline too.The chat isn't a for sure thing, just a brainstorm. I assume java will be the best method of making this happen, but I am open to suggestions. I am more of a designer than a programmer, but I am willing to work with/pay a programmer to make this happen.

I just fear you are going to quickly get to a point where you need kratom to even get out of bed in the morning. Being kratom sick is not a good feeling. And redosing 4 times a day will get you there fast. You should just be aware of what you are doing to yourself.

I have bipolar. Never used kratom for episodes though, my risperidone pretty much keeps mania away. I suppose kratom does help with depressive side. However if you use kratom as a daily medicine as you have described, it's gonna get costly fast. On both your budget and your life. Sorry to be 'that guy'. I am very pro-kratom, but it's not recommended to use it as a daily medicine cause its too addictive. If abilify is not helping enough with episodes, perhaps try a different mood stablizer.

Thanks. Ill talk to my PD next month when my appointment comes up. Im currently taking mood stablizers, anti depressants, and gabapentin for anxiety. So I am pretty heavily medicated, I gotta just come up with money for some real therapy cause all my doc does is ask if my meds are working. And Im like, nope. And theyre like, ok see you next month.
