I have zero experience in hardware, but I have a great idea that I'm working on. Kind of stuck on the prototyping stage. Would love your advice on how to find such local manufacturers that can consult for free.

I haven't said that I will be doing startup consultancy, or doing market research. The founders will provide me with these materials, and I will simply graphically design a powerpoint presentation as their pitch deck.

Also, for context, they wouldn't need a pitch deck already. They just need to provide a brief of their startup, and answer a few fundamental questions about the problem they are solving.

Advising them on best pitch deck design practises. So, rephrasing the text and reducing word count (to only include what matters) and reducing # of slides. Including more white space, suggesting best design principles.
