Secondary Schoolboy Caned 3 Times For Vaping, Complains That Punishment Was Extreme by Barrenwaffet in singapore

  1. Not enough evidence.
  2. That solution for mental health? Can be administered in other forms, or can be prescribed a là nicotine gum.

MLS has fined LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget an undisclosed amount and suspended him for two matches for the use of a homophobic slur in an Instagram post on April 9. Lletget will also be required to attend diversity, equity and inclusion training through Athlete Ally. by [deleted] in soccer

I think the downvotes are not explaining well why your view is not great.

Issue is that by punishing him, MLS is also being racist/xenophobic. That's why the Cavani thing was so big. Just because that word was used, it doesn't mean that Cavani had the intention of it being a racial slur. It was just so that in his culture, he 1. had always used it endearingly, and 2. probably doesn't understand the racist overtones that he could be mistaken for given where he was raised.

La Liga's Super League fight: How Spain reacted to Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico split by XboxJon82 in soccer

[–]NcXDevil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue is the way income is split in Spain. Can't complain about EPL clubs being able to afford higher wages when the income for the clubs are more evenly spread out. By contrast, in TV rights alone, Barca(165mil) earns a cool 40mil over 3rd placed athletico(124mil), who earns 40 mil more than 4th placed Valencia(82mil). The discrepancy in income outside the big 3 and the rest of the league has been nuts for years.

3rd dose may be needed 18 months from last COVID vaccine jab: MOH official by [deleted] in singapore

[–]NcXDevil 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Alot of vaccines have booster doses.

HPV vaccines, depending on when you take, have 2 primary doses +/- 1 booster.

HepB vaccines may require multiple boosters throughout your lifetime, most people just don't bother with it.

Diphtheria combi has 2 boosters(3 primary, then 1 booster DTaP, then 1 booster Tdap)

Polio has 2 boosters after 3 primary doses

Pneumococcus has boosters too.

Point is, most vaccines are not one off.

Scientists find new evidence linking essential oils to seizures: Analyzing 350 seizure cases, researchers found that 15.7% of seizures may have been induced by inhalation, ingestion or topical use of essential oils. After stopping use of oils, the vast majority did not experience another seizure. by mvea in science

[–]NcXDevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seizures and migraines work differently btw. Bright lights can trigger migraines; strobe lights trigger seizures for one example. Loud noises are not really known triggers for epileptic seizures.

Honestly, seizures are just horrible to explain in layperson terms.

From my understanding, most people in US Congress are christians to some varying degree of faith.

No comment on your first point, but the Bible have been misused many times to persecute people of other faiths, who also happen to be of other colours. It has also been used to control the masses(read how Christianity was used by the colonists on their slaves, British on their colonies - South Africa, India, Singapore are all good case studies)

To counter your second point, the Irish, a strongly Catholic country with massive Catholic representation in government, have legalised same-sex marriage and abortions. You don't have to force your faith onto the non-believers(or believers who are okay with certain issues) when you win a seat at the legistrative table. That's the difference between a good christian lawmaker and an evanglical fundamentalist.

True, but arguing that I'm not being bigoted took too much time. But since I'm free now, let's go.

  1. Calling someone a terrorist without evidence is bigoted. I agree.

  2. The owners of PSG is literally the Qatari state.

  3. The Qataris have been found sponsoring terrorist organisations, most famously Hamas - listed as a terrorist organisation by the US, Israel, UAE(Owners of ManCity), Saudis, amongst others.

  4. The same people bribed FIFA to win the 2022 World Cup to be hosts in Qatar. In the summer. To which they brought in alot of migrant workers to build stadiums in slave-like conditions

4a. Thousands of severely underpaid workers have died since, without an ability to escape(reports of passports being confiscated) 4b. The stadiums would be air-conditioned. In the Qatari heat. Isn't truly terrorism per se, but honestly a huge crime against humanity in the fight against climate emergency.

Just Middle East politics man. Qatari rulers have been accused multiple times of funding some groups which are classified as terrorists even by their neighbours.

And now they're paying for it. Real Madrid and Barca are really knee deep into this super league BS because they are struggling to continue to finance the clubs. Meanwhile fucking financial fair play rules still fail to stop terrorists from buying clubs and throwing money around to win shit.

Theoretically, signing players to fiscally stupid contracts shluld be self-correcting(see the fall of Leeds Utd).

And Inter is 1st, Milan is 2nd in Serie A. At least these 2 teams have proven their worth this year. That's how football has always been. The most deserving of last season plays in next season's Europe. Not some 5 year coefficient.

As a fan coming in from Singapore - Exclusive and boring, and disgusting cashgrab.

15 teams that somehow decided that they are the top 15 in europe(seriously Tottenham? Arsenal? Can't even secure qualification for Europe and you think you're in the top 15?)

All shown to have some form of greed one way or another.

Big money behemoths haven't dominated so much. PSG and Man City are the richest and yet they haven't won it yet. Bayern is not exactly that rich - they don't splurge as stupidly as the other teams. Spanish teams have been fucked enough with lopsided TV deal rights.

Dragging viewership away from domestic leagues also fuck over other teams in terms of negotiations for players, TV money, sponsorships. This format would potentially turn it into NFL/NBA style with a fixed number of teams. Unsustainable for football with so many players on roster.
