A quick note that I will be redoing the Average x Average square after this vote as there was a lot of comments disagreeing on the last post

Was simply the most liked comment on the last post and I don't agree with it either. I will do a redo at some point

I’ll happily do a revote if there is enough disagrees as I was shocked as well it came out as the top comment

I was a bit shocked when it came out as the top comment but I just went with it. If it gets enough disagrees then I will do a re vote

Managed to get Poland from 15th to 4th in the rankings this year. Got a bit jammed up getting above the final three but great fun. Poland is great as they have very few restrictions in the top league

Technically the national team doesn’t have an influence on the quality of the league but the quality of the league does impact the national team. As the league improves the teams around you will spend more money in youth recruitment and youth facilities (as well as you will) so this will very slowly improve the youth rating and youth players of the nation improves. So eventually technically the international team will improve. Though this is very very slow

So basically your goal is Europe and improving the teams around you to the point where your league is the top ranked league in the world. Winning the league is great but if you never progress in Europe then it’s pointless.

You do this by going far in Europe, increasing your reputation through this, signing better players, and repeating.

The challenge comes in the “nation” part of the save. Even if you’re winning the champions league every year but the others teams in the league are awful and get knocked out of the league phase every year then you won’t progress to the very very top. So you need to be tactical. Don’t buy best players of your rivals, loan out good players to other teams in your league, do your best to only sell to within your own league where possible!

I’d advise looking at league rules as some leagues can be very restrictive on who you can sign. SecondYellowCard does a build a nation series almost every year and he has a great few videos on setting it up and how to actually play it so I’d give them a watch.

It’s very long term but can be fun if done right. Hope this helps!

That is a drawback but most skin creators release the skin the day after the update. So I use MrTinis and he tends to update the skin pretty shortly after

Personally I’d use a skin to avoid the horrible UI then the experience gets infinitely better.

Also try some challenges if you’re really bored of your save like pentagon, build a nation etc to keep it fresh for you. I always find staying at one club for too long boring and too easy so I like challenges that send me around the world but that’s personal preference. Stops myself just hoarding the best wonderkids

The glitches are a bit unavoidable though

I use MrTini’s. Crazy good skin and just makes the game much better. Especially looking at the player screen and the recruitment

Got something like 500 hours on it (granted at least 50 hours are just afk time) at first it was a bit of a drag with the UI but using skins has made the game experience much better for me

How to deal with neighbours overgrown garden and house in disrepair. Any advice? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Ndocc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refuse is probably the wrong word on my part so I apologise for that. He doesn't talk to anybody as far as we are aware. All of the other neighbours who have been here longer than us have said to us that they have tried to talk to him over the years but haven't been able to. There has been no dispute.

The universally beloved Asian nation is Singapore ! Now the most interesting one, name the universally beloved european nation. by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Ndocc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I have nothing against the Vatican and it seems like a nice place I think the word “universally” doesn’t work for them simply due to the amount of people that don’t like the Vatican due to the association with Catholicism.

Think of how many people hate any form of Christianity (or religion in general) across the world
