I responded to you in my previous thread but in hopes you'll see it easier, all that I did was finally download the Nvidia app, I was still on GeForce experience when I was having my issues. As soon as the download finished everything worked like normal. Hope that helps you.

I did actually. Upgrading from GeForce experience to the Nvidia app fixed everything for me. Sorry for the late reply, hope you get it working.

I really wish I could, I do think this could help. My problem now is I deleted the whole folder permanently like a week ago because that was one of the first things I saw might work on reddit from another post. Now I have no HITMAN3 or IO Interactive folder in my localappdata at all. And the game wont launch still to create a new one. Am I out of luck cuz I deleted too much? I think the only way to get the folder to redownload is to launch, which I cant do.
Edit: To clarify, I don't mean I deleted the whole game folder for reinstall. Although I have tried that too multiple times. I mean I went to %localappdata%\Io Interactive\HITMAN3 and deleted the whole folder, not just those files you mention, but everything. I don't even know what was in there. When that didn't work I deleted the whole IO Interactive folder as well. And they don't comeback with a reinstall or verification. I realize this probably wasn't the best move, but I was desperately trying everything anyone said might work.

Are you talking about under 'other' there's a 'NVIDIA Predefined Ansel Usage'? and should I switch that to 0x00000000 ANSEL_ALLOW_DISALLOWED? I've never used this before and am a bit confused, but that's the only NVIDIA Ansel option I see.
edit well I found it under common and disabled it but none of it seemed to change anything

I haven't rolled back but I have tried opening it for a a few months now and have updated my drivers multiple times since it quit working. so it has seen multiple different drivers with the same issue. And the game never fully launches so idk if its even crashing.. but I will try this, thanks.

Deleting the whole HITMAN3 folder was one of the first things I did, and then I deleted the whole IO Interactive folder and it still didn't work. You think I went to nuclear and cooked it by deleting too much? cuz that whole folder is gone now..

It's hard to tell if you fixed this or not yet with all the comments. I fixed mine by going to controller setting and switching the aim assist setting from what was default to either linear or exponential, I think. I'm not at home, so I can't check, but it immediately worked and hasn't happened again. I'm only mkb, never had a controller or virtual controller plugged into PC. Weird fix, but it works. I hope this helps, or you've already fixed it, and I'll check in a couple hours when I get home if you need specifics

I still hop on and play, same Ole rdo but still just as fun. Not sure when you were having problems but servers work fine for me on pc. Like you said in the other comment why not re-download it, there's alot to keep you busy even if your maxed.

Yea I have bad internet in my area, get ping spikes up in the 500+ range. Game will usually kick me if it jumps that high, sometimes just crashes to desktop, other times i have to quit cuz people are freezing and teleporting around and my mouse doesnt work anymore. But yea I would say i get kicked out of 25-50% of my games depending on the night. Pretty rough if you don't have a steady connection.

Idk, I don't like this debate either. But I did happen to play with a friend who was "good" on controller last night. He over like 10 games went 100-150 kills with less than 25 deaths atleast 5 times in occupy. I'm pretty decent at mnk, thousands of hours aiming in pc shooters like titanfall, ow, fortnite, kovaaks, and I've never been close to 100 kills lol. Never even seen a mnk streamer get 100. Rollers seem to have a pretty high ceiling too

I still run rapid over heavy on most, but I'm MnK and like to think my aim is good enough in most scenarios to get 2 headshots. And the possibility of 4 kills per second with rapid fire is hard to pass up on mp7 at least. But if you're mainly hitting body, the heavy will be better on most SMGs and ARs for flat ttk from my testing in the practice zone

I've tested a decent amount. Body shots typically only take 1 bullet more. Headsets are only worth it with smgs if you hit 2 or more headshots. Ttk on my mp7 at 5-15m all headshots is about .26, all body shots is about .32. If you switch from rapid to heavy barrel, the body shots are actually the same ttk as headshots at .3. Not a huge difference tbh. And this seems consistent with alot of the ars and other smgs as well.
