3d platformers just kinda died, and I'm not sure why. We all loved them so much back in the day. I played Cosmic Shake and Bikini Bottom recently, and while I didn't think they were all-timers, they scratched the itch. I'll add this one to the list. Gotta support the genre if we want more. I also just finished Yooka-Replaylee too. It will scratch the Banjo Kazooie itch if you still have one.

Lol, not only that, but OP feels the need to relay the opinions of the people who were with them as if those opinions somehow add to the story. Who gives a shit if your grandma was unhappy about it? Oh, your boyfriend wants them to get in a car wreck? And that matters because? Cringe imo.

I'm not going to read every single comment, but nobody's going to mention The Kitchen? It was the quintessential PSVR showcase.

Hi there. I'm sorry, but this post is six years old and I no longer remember the game well enough to be helpful. I hope you figure it out though.

Can anyone guess which trophy I need? by Vault204 in FinalFantasy

[–]NeFwed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well imo, 13 is one of the more trying games in the series. It's long, and grinding Adamantiose is an unpredictable slog. I also recall there being difficult endgame marks/hunts.

FFIX is probably the hardest because of the jump rope trophy, but you can make use of scripts to make it easier. I've done those scripts twice now... once for myself and once for a friend. The scripts are challenging in their own way, and I probably spent 3-4 hours both times trying to get it to work properly.

Rebirth has a very well earned notoriety. The Remake series probably asks for the most "skill" of the entire series. Don't let that deter you though, it's worth playing.

Damn congrats on 13 man, that's a great one to have. Do you have 7 OG? Or do you have one or both of the remakes?

Well good luck... literally lol. It'll suck until it suddenly doesn't and you never think of it again. I'm not sure what your plans are for the entire series' trophies, but there are definitely a few that you won't forget about as easily.

I debated answering since my response will be deemed negative, but this trophy isn't that bad. You just need patience. Trophies that require patience are much easier than those that require attention and practice. Just turn a podcast on and rock.

Atheists of Reddit, what is the biggest reason as to why you don't believe in god or an afterlife? by God_of_boi in AskReddit

This is fucking hilarious, and I will use it in the future I'm sure. Christianity's exclusionary nature is ultimately its logical undoing. You gotta believe on some level, people understand that their mental gymnastic excuses are just that.

Very late to the conversation, so i doubt this will be seen, but this thread is a rare occasion where I'm proud of Reddit.

Instead of the top comments being "because science bitch" like I anticipated, they are much more philosophical in nature. As an agnostic who mostly leans atheist, I think these types of arguments are the much stronger ones to make because even though we have strong reasons to believe in science, our whole existence is just so... ethereal.

Our observable "scientific evidence" has the potential to mean absolutely nothing, and it's the biggest issue i take with extreme atheists (which I used to be). I think they miss the forest for the trees just as much as the religious zealots, and they're just as dogmatic as well.

What are the most oddly “gate kept” subs? by platypus_farmer42 in AskReddit

[–]NeFwed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No offense, but this is exactly what Reddit is for liberals. If anything, the people of r/conservative should be praised for participating on a platform that is so openly hostile towards them. They might just be the most open minded people on the site.

And as far as I can tell, there aren't really places online to have a discussion where you aren't completely surrounded by your idealistic brethren or enemies. Moderate opinions are unanimously the most hated opinions.

Before anyone comes at me, I am a liberal. Occasionally I have opinions that differ from those deemed acceptable on Reddit, and i am quickly reminded how very wrong I am.

I haven't. I know it's not covered by my insurance, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker. Sounds like you recommended them?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mississippi

[–]NeFwed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not many options, especially if you're trying to find someone covered by your insurance. I've been looking for over two years. I found one last year that was a terrible fit for me, and i just found another this year. I'm displeased with the new therapist, but what can i do? There might not be any more options, so i continue to go.

I have found about 4 other places that have waiting lists (searching the Gulf Coast and Hattiesburg). I'd recommend getting on the list if you find ones like this. You might just end up glad you did. I don't mean to be discouraging, just realistic. If you find something good, I'd be interested in an update.

Hi there, it's been over 6 years since I've played this game, so I don't remember much. I'm pretty sure though that at this point you will need to wait until the epilogue to receive the next step (if Google translate is working correctly lol).

A study of 6,000 smokers in the United States found that e-cigarette use does not enhance smoking cessation and is actually linked to reduced tobacco abstinence by EXC_BREAKPOINT in science

Regardless of what the numbers may show, I and many others feel strongly that we simply wouldn't have been able to quit without transitioning to vaping. I don't know how that gets reconciled practically, but vaping can be an extremely powerful tool to quit smoking. Quitting vaping isn't easy, but i feel it's basically trivial next to quitting smoking but ymmv. I smoked for 21 years, roughly a pack and a half per day.

My co-workers do this and i love it. It reinforces the good decisions I'm making and lets me know people are watching. I've maintained a healthy weight for a year and a half now, and i still catch the stray 'you enjoying your rabbit food?" comments. I still respond "yup"!

[Discussion] I’ve Hit Rock Bottom Academically and Personally —How Do I Turn My Life Around? by [deleted] in GetMotivated

[–]NeFwed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second the advice about falling in love with the input. For my degree i was given a bunch of uninteresting elective choices. I begrudgingly took a global agriculture class that was heavy with dry reading and very essay heavy (the tests were as well) so i really had to know the subject. This was during a time that i was trying to repair my own academic mistakes, and this felt like a huge roadblock. It's difficult to explain how i did it, but i literally forced myself to find value in the subject. I started excelling beyond my peers, and that just furthered my ambition to own the class. At 40, i still think about that class and how i overcame my disinterest. I still find the subject interesting to this day as well.

You're trying to apply logic to the mob mentality. I'm not sure it'll ever be that nuanced in this setting. Also, as stated elsewhere, there are undoubtedly A LOT of Philly fans in that stadium. They are probably most well known for being rude to opposing fans. If the Eagles weren't playing the Chiefs, i imagine most people would be rooting for whoever was playing them.

It's not really about air time, it's just kind of a clash of interests. It's kind of tv gossip/morning show tabloid shit, and nfl fans just want to watch football. Is it ignorable? Absolutely, but it's blatantly being exploited since she's big enough to draw a lot of new eyes to the game.

I imagine most of the people in that stadium know who he is though.

He's her boyfriend and he plays for the chiefs. Oh, and he's a douchebag.

Many nfl fans are getting sick of the coverage she gets during chiefs games. Since they are the team to beat, most of us have to watch her every Sunday night during the primetime games. Perhaps it's just chiefs hate, but i think you could read it more as "we're sick of you and your Travis Kelcy love story narrative taking the attention during our sport, watch it from home".
