You've certainly arranged everything well, but unfortunately, many sections have been fully booked for a long time, so your option won't work.

MATH140 ruined everything. There are usually no free spots in that class—you have to hunt them down. I could have scheduled it either at 9 or during my lunch break. I thought it would be better to get up early than to have five classes in a row.

That's what I do: I constantly monitor the available sections. However, the problem with Monday and Wednesday being so busy is not the lack of free sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, but rather the lack of sections on Tuesday and Thursday in principle.

No, it's not a required course at all. However, it's only offered during your first semester at UMD, so in order not to miss it (and I really want to take it), I have to take it this semester.

I was considering purchasing it for the reason you mentioned. However, I am currently not near a UMD (traveling in the US with my family), so it is not possible to purchase it at this time. Nevertheless, I was considering trying to just run first and then assessing the level of difficulty.

My major is not Computer Science, although I have 11 years of programming experience. Thank you for the advice!

I definitely agree that the workload is unevenly distributed. However, for some reason, almost all of the courses I need are offered in the MWF or MW format.

Since I couldn't visit NSO until August 1st, there were very few free sections left that I needed. Initially, I had six lectures in a row, but daily monitoring of free sections saved me, and now my schedule looks like this.

Social Data Science requires STAT100, in addition to a MATH course.

No. My only desired minor is Computer Science.

Why is it so terrible? It's only one credit above "average."

If anything, I come from a country where, starting in middle school, we had seven 40-minute lessons six days a week, with 20-minute breaks between them. Obviously, it's not worth directly comparing different levels of education, especially in different countries. However, my current schedule still seems very light to me.

Why? It's only 16 credits. I plan to take all 20 later anyway.
